DirtyBoy
Hey troops....just a reminder when building your packs. There are basically 4 different levels when it comes to a field pack build. Here is the information in SIMPLIFIED terms. 1. HWT-doesnt matter really what color or components are attached 2. Legion Sandtrooper standards-looks like something that might be on screen (Styled after the ANH sandtrooper packs. A loose interpretation is allowed, but screen accuracy is encouraged. 3. MEPD standards-Desert Backpack, styled after the ANH sandtrooper packs. They are comprised of two main boxes (aka Seed Trays), that are the approximate width of the backplate, correct bend on frame. Strict screen accuracy is required! While not every Sandtrooper in the film had a backpack, we feel that this level of commitment and overall design of the character should be attained. This also means taking no personal liberties such as LED lights, etc. 4. SWAT-Basically the same as MEPD standards but elements should be of proper size and proportionate to what is on screen. Lab pipes added...tape added...etc...etc...etc...Also the weathering MUST match the screen used packs. Your pack must also match the trooper you are portraying. For example, if you elect to do Davin's desert build or the Dewback rider, a MOVE ALONG pack will NOT work for this. The tape must be removed, lab pipe added, etc...etc... Hope this helps
