wanabe a fett Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 Hi all, No, I'm not td yet but I'm working on it. With Christmas and all the price of armor is out of reach for a bit. So I am working on the accessories first. While the rest of my clan was watching Christmas shows I put this together. It's all PVC and I still need to add the hose. Matting isn't hard to find but you need ta find it with the ribs spaced right. I see alot that look like the ribs are tight. I used contact cement to glue it to the PVC. Art Andrews Posted March 12, 2006 Share Posted March 12, 2006 Great job! I have a couple of suggestions though, if you are up to hearing them... The MG-15s used int he movie had cast receivers. Because of this, they removed the chargin handle and filled in the charging handle area. You can still see the indentation but the area is filled. The snooper scope does not sit on the top of the gun, but actually off to the right side a bit. maybe 15 degrees. The forward scope (enfield) is attached by a single post. They left the original scope mount on the scope and then made a custom mount to attach it to the rear sight moutn on the MG15. Don't forget to add the signlepoint scope to the right side of the receiver.
