The WoodChuck
WoodChuck here. After attending CV, I needed a break. A customer asked me to create this Intarsia for her husband, who collects John Deere miniatures. The tractor has almost 300 pieces, most of them in the big rear tire. The entire scene is wood, cut up into tiny pieces, then shaped, sanded and glued to a back board. BTW, I had to go to a JD dealer to get the green and yellow paint. $9 a can!!! $2.97 at wal mart, but just not the right shade.
