Answer maybe to the box on top of the feed tray of the MG34

Since ive been doing research on the MG34, i have seen people talk about the little box on top of the box for the feed tray. No one ever quite knew what it was. Well iam pretty sure its what is referred to as "feed claws " for the drum mag for the mg34.

That detail is missing on the DoopyDoos MG 34, I built that from scratch.
