Volumino
Hey Guys, Now I'm at the moment where I should decide which packdesign I'll go. I was thinking about the pack No 1 cause it seems to be easy to build. Now that's my problem: It seems to me that the Pack #1 changes, that means there are sometimes parts missing OR is this a completely different pack? Look! Hey Bracksbuddy, hope it's ok to take your pics for reference. Here you clearly see it has an air filter, the left tube, a mushroom cap and a stown n go box! But now look at those pictures! Looksirdroids.cpm says it's also pack 1. I'm not 100% sure about that but it looks to me that the mushroomcap, the left tube and the air filter are missing. Added to this they don't use the Stow n Go thats for sure a normal tool box on the right size ( compare the first picture) What do you think? I hope you can help me out Regards Volumino
TD9323
Looks like 2 different packs to me. The pack in the first pic also has the Tupperware stow and go container.

I think your right, there are too many differences between the pack on the first and the two other pics. But now: Do you think the pack shown on the two following pictures has an air filter, a mushroomcap or this left pipe?? I still not sure how to build my pack
Rolf
Yep they are not the same. We see 5 different version of packs in ANH. Here you go : The filter you ask for, should be a motor oil filter The 5 version are there again as different versions again. Like the move a long back pack, whit the tape on the blue tray + small up corner box. We see the look sir droids have the same pack on, but whit out the tape on. Here you go: Here we see the same pack version again, but here both trays are black (left in the pic): This one if freaky, here the same version again. But only 1 out of the 4 trays shells are blue (left in the pic): Hope you can use the info. Troop on bro
Volumino
Hey that's a lengthy report Thank you for that, Rolf! But I'm afraid I'll stay at the move along pack because the other packs seem to be ugly lol holded with tape, twisted radio, bottles missing. Looks kind of uncomplete But for now I know the differences, we'll see how my pack ends

That would make it look even better ^^ I would like to make such a Faceplate as Zenix but I don't know anybody who could show me how to work with CAD Prototyping <_< But up to now: Problem solved

Volumino
Yeah, that's why I thought about the leather hehe But your Pack is really an accurate job; you have to tell me where to get such a faceplate. Personally I think there are some more accurate syphons but nevertheless TOP COOOOOOOL!!!!

Do you have a link to your syphon. I use this : http://www.partridges.uk.com/catalog/do-it...-95in-p-71.html

I use this : http://www.partridges.uk.com/catalog/do-it...-95in-p-71.html Oh I know the white commando radio, a pitty he stopped to produce them. I used the english syphon we all know and modified it this way, i will add the small knob in the middle of the half ball I think thos one looks even closer to the ANH Syphon
Rolf
Its also a very good syphon, i have made 4 MH/SB/Crashman packs over time and used it a few times too. First pack i just used the syphon kit there was whit the MH/SB, and add the vintage burger stacker to it. On my next two i use the one you show here, and add the vintage burger stacker to it. On my last one, i use the new found syphon. And i think its the best so far, because it have the right size and shape. So you don´t have to cut the side of the syphon off and add the stackers. Because its all ready the right round shape. Here a few pics from Mike H site, where he also use the burger stackers add to he´s syphons: http://gallery.mac.com/mikeharrison#100129...k&view=grid Cheers bro
Volumino
Yeah you're right but I just think the round area (I mean those stripes) is better on the UK Syphon and the shape is also quite right. Perhaps you should add the missing stripes on the round area cause in ANH there were 4 Stripes and yours has only 3 How did you attach your seedrays without leaving the lip? A member in here aka Billy, did so too. He glue the some accurate looking extra plastic rings on the round syphon. I might do the same one day, Mr. E6000 glue must be the right man for the job. Nope the lips are there, my trays should be trim right. (Some do not cut/trim enough off, they have to touch each other/no air between them) Cheers bro

TD9323
I used the same syphon as Rolf. I added large zip ties for the rings.
pandatrooper
That's a clever idea with the zip ties!
