No.47 gloss paint: paint or spray?

Recommended Posts

How was the no.47 humbrol gloss paint applied on the original prop fieldpacks? Seeing as though the original armour was hand painted with regular dulux white gloss paint, do you think the blue parts of the pack were painted with a brush, or sprayed? Spraying would most probably give a better finish, but maybe painting by brush would be more screen accurate. The humbrol paint comes in quite small tins, I could thin it and spray it through my airbrush. This would make it go farther. But I did buy a couple extra tins in a larger size so that's not really an issue.

How has everybody else done theirs?
