I wanted to make a similar Man-Cave video, but they just seem so "oh, look at all MY stuff", but I suppose when done in a funny way it could be entertaining and interesting. I plan on building a home theater in my next house and I am still trying to come up with ideas to theme it out. I am going to build it myself. Lets face it's every mans dream to have a man cave. The massive size is what makes it... and that he is like from ye olde times... circa 1870!!! It was meant to be a conversation starter, when friends come over... well, the room surely is. I can have sword fights in there, I can have lightsaber battles (I have MR Lighsabers out of view behind the doors), and I have a PS2, so I can kill, in a virtual sense. But it will be moved to the small wall. By her command. If anyone wants the file, it is just a wallpaper I grabbed off of the internet, I blew it up, and applied Photoshop filters. Up close, it looks like a painting. LMK. Also, Mike's idea is excellent. But my story shows what happens if you take kitsch too far!!! Also, the room is not just a Star Wars room. There is the 300 Spartan section, the Roman Legion area, the old Irish Equestrian prints, French Imperial Statues, OH OH... Mike, you did not see my Star Trek: The Next Generation mini-statues. I have a pretty nice Man cave right now that I can't live without. We're looking at buying a house and #1 requirement is a Man Cave or basement. I have too much crap to store elsewhere. Yea house shopping too at the moment. The west coast doesn't have too many basements but I am going to re-do the garage into a home theater/man cave when I buy . Since I don't know the dimentions yet obviously I don'tw have final plans yet, but I do know I will be displaying my sandtrooper, TIE gear on mannequins as well as my life sized Hannibal lector and jason voorhees. One of my best friends is a Director of Photography and he said he would come in and set up all the lighting for me. When the time comes I will do a thread on how to light your sandy for dramatic effect. Yea and extra room is the key.. Right now its such a buyers market and I am looking at properties that were in some cases selling for twice as much as they are selling for right now. I am just keeping my fingers crossed for that dream house to pop up and me be the 1st bidder.
