Rolf
Thanks bro´s. I love the behind stuff, it gives us just a little piece more of what we love. And sometimes, it gives us better views of the suits too. I love when there is taken pictures, around a take. Here you go. Enjoy .
Rolf
Like we see the desert scene, where the troopers gets the weathering on. I have been thinking, what about the check point. Here they look pretty dirty, like we know them. But on these shots, they look all white again. Maybe the weathering, came of from the desert take. Which i believe was the first takes, but i´m not sure... Now they look all white again, maybe they add the weathering on again?. (maybe the pictures, just make them more white... then they really are, because of the bright sun light)
Dutch Dirty Trooper
Though everytime when i look at this picture...i always have something like...he looks so small..if like a child is wearing that amor ! Maybe shot this one from a very strange angle !? Grtz RAY
Pappy
The Stunts are mostly locals? Rolf thanks a lot ......i found this one interesting + the one from CB,i wonder.....there are probably lots of archives yet to be published <_<
Rolf
I guess, they first took the desert scenes. But here, i wanna look at the check point shots... I guess they first took the check point scene. After that, they hold a short brake, before they took the falcon taken of dok 94 scene. From the same street alley, as the check point scene. Here the taking a brake picture. Then they move, out the Captain whit no back on out of the shot. And the sergeant, whit the MG-15 too. Now they took the next scene. Pappy
possibly...even a big gun like DLT-19 can be wrong
Rolf
You're right the environment(buildings) are look a like.........in fact, its the same! They sure are . I just like to get closer, to what happen back then. And to know what scenes was the first ones, in order 1, 2 and 3 and so on. What back packs, pouches and weapons, seen in different scenes by different troopers. For two reasons. 1. i like to know what´s is what, so we can nail every sand trooper out for each scene (like Braksbuddy have showed us, whit the back packs on the check point scene) 2. I like to be screen accurate my self, so i know what version on TD gear i shall wear to pick one trooper out. Right now i got pauldrons, pouches, weapons, pouches enough, to make 6 sand troopers right. Cheers .
Rolf
possibly...even a big gun like DLT-19 can be wrong Copy that . Here the captain to the left, holds the dlt-19 up side down. Later when the t-21 get the info about the falcon, he turns it right again.
TD-1535
wow!! So cool....after watching the same scenes over n over for the past 30 odd years and i NEVER noticed the 'roadblock' and outside docking bay 94 were the same locations filmed at a slightly different angle... Also as im not 100% sure but I have alsways thought there were 2x orange, 2x white and 2x black pauldrons in a squad, but i cant find a complete shot of all of them distinguishable in the shot, there is always one color turned away and not visible,,,,anyone know for a fact??? Caomhanach
Am i grazy or what ?! Looks looks like he's holding his E 11 backwards ?! Nice pictures again bro ! Grtz RAY It looks right as it appears like the shell ejection port is on the right (the metallic looking 'blob' in the middle just below the sights) meaning that it is the right orientation, or it is upside down and back-to-front (which it isn't)... Rolf
I have a wish to our own Braksbuddy, or if someone else wanna do it. Here you see BB sketch of the dok94, and alley scene. If you could do, the rest of the sand trooper scenes too. It will be more then nice. We still need to have the desert scene + the cantina scene + check point scene. The map, BB did is fantastic as a guide line. Whit the packs, and weapons/pauldrons on. But if you can add the pouches on too, it will be A+. (i know its a lot to ask for, if you decide to do them. If you do them, i hope it will be a bit of fun too) Over and out
Art Andrews
Hey bud. I am working on it. Just takes time and it is one of those things that I kind hit on and then have to take a break and then hit on again, but I would like to ID them all for you. The prob is how much they change and in some scenes it is just impossible to tell who is who and what is what. But I will do my best to ID them all in each scene. I love stuff like this like you, and many others. Your talent, and creative skill have give a lot to this hobby. The to maps you did whit the black dots, together whit the check point pack #. Give a perfect understanding, of what went down back then. So whit all five maps, whit all the TD gear nailed down. It will help us a lot, to figure out what is what. I have try for 8 years, to be as TD accurate as i can. But its not enough, just trying to get the right version of packs/weapons/pouches/pauldrons for being movie accurate. Then comes, all the endless random version of each trooper whit packs/weapons/pouches/pauldrons. Once again, thanks Buddy . Rolf.
Pappy
How about this....ID-ing all troopers from scene to scene with all their aquisition? -pauldron -backpack -weapon -pouches (the hardest ) And change it from time to time if theres a particular detail found from time to time
Rolf
How about this....ID-ing all troopers from scene to scene with all their aquisition? -pauldron -backpack -weapon -pouches (the hardest ) And change it from time to time if theres a particular detail found from time to time Copy that. Thanks to BB, he will work out all 6 scenes. 1. Desert. 2. Check point. 3. Cantina. 4. Alley door check. 5. Dok 94/battle in the dok. 6. Falcon taking off. There is also the scene between number 2, and 3. Where there dude talk whit two sand trooper out side the cantina, about Luke and Ben before they search the cantina. Maybe that scene, don´t need to be placed down... In the SE version, there in a number 3 computer made trooper. Personal i don´t like the extra scenes in the SE version. If it was up to me, they should only have clean the sound and picture. (no new flashy computer scenes please, trying to make into a now a days kid movie) The pouches can be hard, because they are small and dark. But there is not many. 1. Canvas mp 40/tool box. 2. Wien Stolla a like LFL art dept made, now sci-fire pouches. 3. The small ww2 spanish pouch, square a like. 4. The second ww2 spanish pouch, a bit more wide and longer version. And thats it. We only see one more, on the check point private MG-15 trooper. Its not found yet, a small box a like pouch on he´s right hip. But its only seen on him, the rest we have in place. Thanks for stopping by .
steve12201
It is VERY possible the blowing sand essentially sandblasted the weathering off the armor during the shoot and had to be touched-up for other scenes. I was fortunate enough to be in a photoshoot with Braksbuddy (Art) at the Imperial Dunes in California in October 2007 and we learned how harsh the blowing sand can be. My armor/boots had almost no weathering by the end of the day and his camera lense was ruined. My banner is a pic from that shoot....the only Photoshoping was changing the color to greyscale, cropping, and adding the font. Thanks again Art Steve
