TD1009
Preview of a Sideshow Collectibles Sandtrooper. Watch out this page is LOUD. The weathering, MG-15 and even the pose reminds me so much (in what little we see of Sideshow's product) of the Braksbuddy Davin Felth costume replica pictures. What do you think? Daetrin
Maybe I'm in the minority, but it was hard to see any details from the video. Are there any static pix for us with old eyes?

Rolf
Some say, that you are first real famous. When there is made a plastic figure, out of you . Two of our members in here, have that title now . Mr. BB, and our own CO. Lets not hope there is a crazy kid out there, there try to make voodoo on you .

gino
That would be cool if it was indeed based on that. Maybe braks and I will try to tackle the sandtrooper again but better this time. .

dutchy
You really got it made when they start using you as a ref. for miniatures .. But what to expect when you got an armor that is looking so great as Art's..

Art Andrews
Those are the Marmit troopers aren't they?
TD1009
Don't get your hopes up too high here's a pic Those are 2 Marmit and one RAH figure (in the front.) Previous attempts at decent 1/6 scale Sandtroopers by Toy companies. I have a Marmit I never put together but I did dissect the field pack
Art Andrews
I bought six of the marmits back in the day because I wanted to make all the troopers but then I got annoyed with the detailing of the helmets and some of the armor, and sold them all. I think Turo got several of them if I remember correctly. While I am excited about this figure from sideshow, I can already see, I don't think much of the helmet shape or the hero lenses... but considering the stance and weathering... I don't think it will stop me from getting one.
slave1pilot
My mistake The website that had them claimed they were Sideshow I was hoping they weren't
Daetrin
Hey Nathan - didn't you do some custom painting on some action figures awhile back? I remember someone did a few years ago but (doh!) can't find the thread anymore.
