TD9323
Looks great and nice pix. It will make it easier for me when I put mine together. I notice that some bend the frame and others don't. The officer pack I bought from Seth has a bent frame. Does it matter either way?

The bent frame is required for deployment as it is movie accurate so you're fine if you have a bent frame...

If it bends, the boxes will follow and have the right look. My 70´boy scout frame, don´t bend that much. But the straight lines, there hold the boxes makes make them sit right. I´m glad, if my pictures can guide you a little. I still remember when i assemble my first. Cheers .
RoCKo
****, rolf, are the days in denmark longer than in the rest of the world? everytime i visit our forum you´ve started another project and everytime it´s almost finished... (and i try to visit here at least every second day...) hands up for the fastest builder in the whole prop-community! over and over again: THAT LOOKS AWESOME, BRO! TK6237
Thanks for posting up these pics, Rolf! I´m gonna start building my first pack this weekend, so I´m saving these for future reference. Think I´ll be using strips as well, should make it easier to break it down for transportation and storage. One question: How do join the two halves for the main boxes? Do you just glue them together along the edges?

(and i try to visit here at least every second day...) hands up for the fastest builder in the whole prop-community! over and over again: THAT LOOKS AWESOME, BRO! Ha ha thanks bro. I happy to get the shoulder clap from you, i see you are one of the best in the world to build these packs. As we know, the MH/SB is the most accurate pack kit out there. But its not a full kit, many parts have to found and put nicely together. So you have to one **** of a creative dude, to make it A+ all the way. Your packs, and skill on assembling them are some of the best i have seen. I just try to keep up . I know i might seem TD crazy, but the TD´s are my only costume hobby. Off cause the ANH TK too, because its all most the same suit. So i´m mostly in here, and a bit in the FISD forum too. But my heart belongs to the TD´s, and the MEPD. I also try to speed up a bit, and get all things together before my son comes out in may. I guess he will be my new big hobby. 1. I´m waiting for my new TD suit, all ready payed and order. 2. Same thing about the new ANH sci-fire pouches. 3. Got a good mp40 replica/extra tool box on, + ww2 ANH used spanish pouches/2 versions. 4. Got a MH/SB captain pack build, and a sergeant version on its way too. 5. TD-252/Scott all 3 ranks pauldrons. 6. Sci-fire weapons, E-11, DLT-19, T-21 (waiting for the MG-15). 7. Mark Cheng 1V, CA, Jodhpur boots. 8. Rom-fx sound system. 9. UK Keith mic tips sets. Cheers from the TD nut case in DK .

Think I´ll be using strips as well, should make it easier to break it down for transportation and storage. One question: How do join the two halves for the main boxes? Do you just glue them together along the edges? I just used some extra plastic, inside them. I cut out a piece, hot glue them to the box add to the frame. So the piece comes out from it, left and right. I then add some glue on them too, and add the front box. Hold it a few seconds, and it stays there for good. Before i do that i make sure, that the front box whit the items add one sits perfect. So i don´t have to open the box, ever again. Good luck, whit your first build up pack bro . Rolf
Small up date. I cut out the frequency out today. I used the lid from the 70´burger stagers, as the back ground in there. I will make the two triangle comes in, whit the dot in the middle. I also made a longer air filer. New pic up soon .

RoCKo
good work, rolf! the dial looks awesome so far i´m sure this will raise the bar again... only one little suggestion, IMO the tubes on your filter part could be slighly smaller in diameter. Rolf
Thanks Rocko . Yeah i´m a bit here. The first air filter i did, have the right thickness, of tubes. But was too short. The second i did, have the tight hight. But the tubes are a bit too thick... Now i don´t know if i gonna do a # third, before i add it . nice-biscuit
I remember someone using garden 'leaky' irrigation hose. That looked spot on for thickness and had the right texture too. Looks like 12mm. Here's link for 10mm and 13mm hose. http://www.cityirrigation.co.uk/acatalog/c..._Leak_Pipe.html
RoCKo
Now i don´t know if i gonna do a # third, before i add it . just make sure you can remove the filter part easily as we both know you will not leave it there when there is anything inaccurate at it...

TD9323
How do you find the time? You do very nice work. I especially like the dial. Can you show a pic of the modded siphon before you attach the stackers?
