Imabarroomhero
Hey, my name's Ian (TK-1517) recently decided to go sandy. Currently getting my armor nice and dirty and getting a pack together. Waiting on a few other parts, just wanted to introduce myself and say yo. Daetrin
Heya Ian - going TD can be a lot of work but it's also very rewarding as well. Feel free to ask questions anytime. Also, will be cool if we can see progress pix should you have time.
Imabarroomhero
Yeah I've been wanting to convert for a while. I have my pauldron and have begun the dirtying it up process. I'm going to get Ab and Knee parts from my buddy this week and I'm going to go hit the umpteen thousand local military surplus stores we have to see if I can find a couple of pouches. After that it's new bucket time and T-21 upgrade. I'll get some pics of my current dirty armor, I kind of got crazy with it, but I dig it. Imabarroomhero
Alright, got my new armor parts lastnight and got everything converted, going to finish the dirt tonight. I will try to get pics up by then. Also another TD from my garrison just scored me a radio box so I'm totally pumped about that! Woot! Imabarroomhero
Alright, sorry I haven't had a chance to get pics up as of yet. Have a big event this saturday and I have been going nuts trying to get this done in time without doing too much rushing. My fiancee should have my bucket finished tonight (she's an art major) so hopefully I will be able to get pics of my armor and hopefully even my backpack up tonite! I'm totally excited, but I'm telling you now, I really wanted to go for the dirtiest TD out there, not sure if I won but I've got to be close. Imabarroomhero
Finally pics!!! Alright, so I know this is by no means MEPD worthy and some pieces still need to be cahnged for TD acceptance, but here's what I got so far. Unfortunately I couldn't get pics up before seeing as I apparantly need a new camera, luckily though one of the other guys in my garrison got a few shots from our last event. I'll try to find some pics of my backpack, it's just your basic TK-409 build with a little weathering. http://www.centralgarrison.org/album_pic.php?pic_id=8365 http://www.centralgarrison.org/album_pic.php?pic_id=8362 http://www.centralgarrison.org/album_pic.php?pic_id=8361 I'll try to hunt down some others as well, can't wait to get my T-21, and my new bucket for that matter. Oh and also I installed the Imperial police scanner in my backpack and it got a HUGE response, so that was cool.
Imabarroomhero
Ha, snap, after looking at those pics I can say that the last time I wear gym shorts under my under armor, looks like my thighs are double the normal size lol.
