nice-biscuit
Has anybody got any close up reference photos how the ab buttons and slots look, as close as possible to the film. I have got some, but I wouldn't mind a definitive reference if one exists.
theGreatSot
Hope these help. The last should be the clearest image of the three button strip and slot detail.
nice-biscuit
Thanks Zac looks good. The number of buttons is it three or four? I have a TE2 with four buttons but most armours show three and in the above reference there looks like there is something below the third button. Dutch Dirty Trooper
As far i can see there are 3 buttons !! Grtz RAY
theGreatSot
There should be three slightly larger (larger than the four button strip) buttons attached in the same location as the four button strip. There is also a small vertical indentation at the bottom of the raised strip that holds the buttons. This is visible in the last photo that I posted above. Juliusthegreat
I am also interested in getting my buttons right. I have AP armor and miss the 3 buttons. I have tried to search what other people use as buttons with no luck. So my question is how big is the buttons? And sorry for borrowing your tread nice-biscuit . No problem Julius I made some buttons using a spare piece of 2mm HIPS and a 16mm plug cutter, which look OK. You may want to take up Troopermaster's offer though. dutchy
I used a 5 eurocent piece as a guideline for the right size and shape, because my AP also came without the buttons. So I cut out the buttons of the excess material myself and I must say..it does the trick
