Rolf Posted October 4, 2008 Share Posted October 4, 2008 You new updated weathering looks way better. The first one was way to paint looks a like, too white vs. a colour. One other thing, the colours looks off too. Either too red, or yellow like. I buy two sets, of the woodland series. I then mix my own, more sandy like colours to get the yellow and red out of them. I them put them all over the suit. Start whit the light ones, then i work it up to the darker ones and put them into the detail areas. I then take a wet, and a dry cloth. Dab it here and there, first wet then dry. This way, you don´t take all the colours off. But leave a shadow fade like dusty area, and make it look old and used. Here you see mine . Rolf. Your welcome trooper . Yeah pictures can be tricky. Once i show another sand trooper suit, and it also look way too yellow then real life. Good luck whit the creative progress .
