Rolf
I have 2 of the ww2, used wien stolla pouches. I´m 99,9% sure, that it was them used in ANH. But also, that they was modify. Or made by LFL, for the movie. Just think off all the props etc. Weapon sterling to E-11. Chest projectors/pauldrons etc... If they did not made them, as inspiration of the wien stolla. But used the wien stolla, i´m pretty sure they cut off a few mm in the ends of the flaps. Going over the metal dots, and made them round. Here you go: Here you see mine: This is just a point of view, and a share thing. I will not cut my ww2 wien stolla, but maybe we shall do a replica ANH version run of them. Cheers troops. Rolf . nice-biscuit
I think you are right about the cut off. This makes them look longer as well, but they are definitely longer. I think Riveting was going to do a run of these at some point and judging by his neck seal it would be a quality product. Here's the thread over at FISD http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?show...amp;#entry46362
Rolf
Copy that. I remember them on FISD, they look pretty cool too. Only him, and sith armor are making a replica of them as far as i know. Cheers .

I think they have used some genuine pouches and maybe the costume department replicated some also. Look at the pic you posted the pouches section for the individual magazines are more rounded and not so sqaure as the real deal, just my 2 pence worth
Rolf
I hear you buddy. I also think they might not be wien stollas, but maybe LFL replicas in there own version. Maybe we will know one day...

Look at the pic you posted the pouches section for the individual magazines are more rounded and not so sqaure as the real deal, just my 2 pence worth Most of the things they are wearing was original stuff they threw on, Only the armor was their own... So why custom make their own pouches... More likely they were modified, as Rolf mention originally, rather than make replicas...

After the metal dot coming out, and you have the look we see in ANH .
Kimelius
I suspect that the pouches would have come from a variety of sources/manufacturers as does most wartime equipment. After the costume dept sourced them, the pouches would've been modified so they would better resemble each other. Given that these pouches are close enought to the helmets to appear on screen during close ups. Oh, now I really have to find me some WS pouches
