Sand_storm
Howdy all- Do the MH/SB parts need wet sanding before painting or can I just spray and go? (I'm literally standing here with the spray can so quick answers are much appreciated! )
TD-1536
The parts that I built, I painted them black with Krylon Fusion. No need to sand or primer. The blue... depends on what type of paint you're using.
Sand_storm
Thanks Mike! Here's a link to the blue I'm using - what do you think? (The cap colour on this page is way off, but the little sample square looks pretty close to the dry colour.) http://www.godfrey-diy.co.uk/specialist ... 22940.html
TD-1536
I'd say go for it. I never primed or wet-sanded the blue seed trays before I painted them. For the most part, most Rustoleum paints are enamel and with a proper cure time, are really chip resistant.
SethB6025
Everything I've painted I've just sprayed outright. The only thing of ours I've ever primed is the clear tube used for the mortar tube.
