Daetrin
I think even have some text steps would help. For instance: 1. Was there a particular length you used on the t-racks? 2. What paint did you use? 3. How did you affix the ejector port cover - super glue? 4. Did you eyeball the position or use some fixed measurement? I have the parts to make my conversion and was going to stumble along, but having some info would surely be of help.
Rolf
I think even have some text steps would help. For instance: 1. Was there a particular length you used on the t-racks? 2. What paint did you use? 3. How did you affix the ejector port cover - super glue? 4. Did you eyeball the position or use some fixed measurement? I have the parts to make my conversion and was going to stumble along, but having some info would surely be of help. 1. I get them from: http://www.blast-tech.com/products_rubb ... _GST-6.asp 2. Humbrol, gun metalic and silver. I did not paint the gun, only the feeder box, disc, screw to match the HG gun. I then took a paper piece, put some silver on it whit a cotton pen. I use the cotton pen, to make some scratches here and there all over. Then i took some toilet paper down in the silver, and slowly smooth give it a all over. It works perfectly, because the silver quick gets into to the toilet paper. And therefor makes a smooth metal over look. The stock i paint whit a matt bakelite look like humbrol. First i paint it gloss, but it look fake. Because the gun is more matt like. Some goes for the pistol grip, semi matt black. Remember toilet paper on the screws. 3. I try super glue, but it was not strong in the end. So i use a hot glue gun to add the items, feeder box, disc, screw. I also give the t-tracks a little bit before i add them. 4. I use BB site for ref. http://www.looksirdroids.com/replica_weapons2.html (i made the feeder box of extra MH/SB black hips, glue together whit hot glue gun. Also the screw from black hips. The disc is a flat stand, The handle grip is a PVC pipe). Hope you can use the info bro .
