Rolf
Yo i will soon be in progress, of making a new MH/SB back pack kit together. Last time i just buy a big thick black plastic piece, for the long side tube. Whit the 3 white canister items on. I heat the black plastic up in a big oven, and then roll it so i fit the MH/SB canister caps perfectly. My question is: What do you use. Where did you get it. Do you have a site to buy from etc... Here is a picture of my MH/SB, home made side tube.

freakengine
I used an Alvin Ice Tube - it's a tube that's used to store drawings or drafting or whatever for transport. It's very light and very strong. I just slit it down one side, tightened it up, drilled and riveted it, then painted it black.
