Daverian
I am making a lewis gun and noticed a discrepancy with the diameter of the pipes. I enlarged a photo of the actual lewis gun and measured it and it appears to be a 3.5" pipe that converts to a 3" pipe at the end. Is this correct? If so, is it easy to find a 3.5" PVC pipe and a fitting that will do a 3.5 to a 3"?

Daverian
That is the Photo I blew up and measured. When you enlarge the 10" to be exactly 10" it doesn't measure right. I was just told that you cannot get a 3.5" PVC, how are you guys making these I noticed TK409's tutorial used a 3" to a 2" PVC. Is that what most of you are doing? TD-4455
I used a pipe of 3 " and in the end I added a aluminum can of 24 Oz, (2,5 ") also adds a hoop in the top that is the one that gives him the end of 3 " again. http://www.mepd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2588
