Tyranus
I thought everyone here might enjoy a link to the complete manual I found while tunneling through the web one night. It details all the parts, technical details, complete operating instructions and how to strip and reassemble. Sterling Manual

Tyranus
You're welcome. I thought we all might be interested in seeing the manual firsthand, and for anyone with a Sterling, it might come in handy.

Tyranus
You're welcome! I am looking for a deactivated Sterling if anyone has a source, I would love to hear about it. I posted this in its own thread too, but thought it wouldn't hurt to cross-post it here: If anyone: 1 - has one that has been sitting, collecting dust and getting no work done on it, or 2 - you have seven and losing one wouldn't move you to tears, or 3 - maybe you know someone who has one that's been sitting I want an authentic ANH E-11,and MR is just NOT doing it for me. I'm not worried about the weight, as it's not for trooping with, but to convert to an accurate ANH prop for my collection. Thanks for any help you can give. Tyranus
Was your Sterling a parts kit or already welded together in one piece?
