Strider
The SWAT program is the one of the toughest in the entire legion. We sandtroopers take pride in trying to achieve the highest accuracy possible to resemble those troopers seen on screen. As the program carries very high standards it will take blood, sweat, and tears to get there, and believe us - all SWAT members have bled... and cried! Since the program started in 2011, 44 SWAT officers have been deployed (at time of press). If you are successful at SWAT you are awarded with a certificate signed by the Commanding Officer, and your deployment poster is hung, in order, on the SWAT wall of fame on the forum. The idea of this thread is not to make an exact guideline or "recipe" on how to become a SWAT Officer but offer potential candidates one single point of all the information he or she needs. Although it appears as if there were numerous TDs In the Mos Eisley scenes, there were actually only 6 troopers and probably just 6 backpacks as well. However, the gear was permantently changed between the different scenes (and sometimes even during the same scene), things were damaged and fixed again, that the impression of a lot more Santroopers was created. Here is a picture of the original 6 troopers which were all played by local Tunisians (except for the roadblock scene where Anthony Forrest played the famous 'Move Along' trooper): This guide is structured as follows; below you can find all scenes in which Sandtroopers appeared in chronological order. Next to the troopers of the respective scene is a link which leads to the reference materials including background story and further links to successful SWAT applications. Please note that this list is by no means exhaustive. There were so many variations of each trooper often accompanied by changes of gear during the same scene that the list below is meant to be as a general guideline.1. Strider
Cantina Captain/ Alley-Docking Bay 94 Captain V1Helmet:Armor: In the different scenes we see a lot of armor and backpacks being swapt between different troopers in different scenes. The specific parts can be identifeid by their pecularities, e.g. in case of the sandtrooper captain we see the same dirt pattern also on the armor of the Alleyway Captain but with another weapon and no backpack.Backpack:Weapon: DLT-19 (MG-34) Below you can find the links to succesful SWAT applications. Strider
Davin Felth ("Look Sir, Droids") Davin Felth was a member of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps during the early years of the Galactic Civil War. A graduate of the elite Imperial Army training program at the Academy of Carida, Felth exposed a potentially critical weakness in the All Terrain Armored Transport design. Rather than rewarding the cadet for his brilliance, Colonel Maximilian Veers buried Felth in the Imperial Army's infantry division to mask the design flaw. Under the designation 1023, Sergeant Felth was assigned to the desert planet Tatooine as part of the Desert Sands sandtrooper detachment, tasked with the recovery of the stolen plans to the first Death Star. Felth discovered in the sands of the Dune Sea the escape pod used to effect the escape of the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 from Imperial forces, the latter of which was attempting to deliver the plans to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Felth later killed his commanding officer, Captain Mod Terrik, after tracking the droids to the Mos Eisley spaceport as part of a reawakening process in which he came to believe the Empire he lived to serve was evil. (Introduction on Davin Felth by starwars.wikia.com). The guys from "Looksirdroids" have done an excellent job identifying Davin Felth (or his gear) in the various scenes >>> http://www.looksirdroids.com/davin_film.htm Below you can find the links to succesful SWAT applications.
