Hey bro, great to see you're going for SWAT as well! Not to interfere with Smally's review but there are a couple of things I've spotted right away which might help you speed the process;

- 2 left hand guards
- strap from the smaller (shoulder) pouch needs to be longer
- hand guards rather thick
- helmet might be a tad bit too dirty
- lower seed trays of the back pack are not "hanging down"
- small gap where the right ear meets the helmet
- Right shoulder bell should meet the forearm (biceps bell barely visible)
- Behind shot of you wearing the field pack as well a shot of the frame is missing

Good luck!

Hi Chris,

I will start your review in the next view days...please stand by!

Just one note: the weathering on the chest looks too foggy. Take a look right here

MoveAlongTrooper.jpg

or there

duped-stormtrper-star-wars2_1199343749.j

And check the dimensions of the chest weathering.

Cheers,

Felix

Hi Chris!!

Thank you for your patience! It is so great to see so many potential SWAT candidates submitting their applications for activation.

Your confidence in your gear is definitely commendable. But, I will be honest with you...this review is going to be a challenge already.

With that said, please remember that we are here to encourage you and not to discourage you. It looks like there will definitely be some

major modifications to come during this process. But if you sick to it, remain patient and complete the modification assignments given,

then you will be just fine.

Last but not least, as all of our candidates are told, this may be a long ongoing process depending on the submission. So please be patient as

I give your armor / gear a full inspection and review. Some details may definitely be missed and re-checked but i will try to catch them on every

pass given it until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team, Brother!

Are you ready? Let's begin......

Shoulder Pouch: the loop of the small pouch on the reference is much longer than yours. If you are finished

with this modification and making new submission pictures try to bring the shoulder pouch a little bit higher.

Here is an example shot

Weathering: Your chest weathering is close to the original. Great rework Chris!!

I took some example picture where you have to do some reworks...

The notches of the right forearm have a different intensity of dirt (none of the notches is clean!)...take a close look...

Review_rechter%20Unterarm_zpsjcybk9wv.jp

The right hand plates has a typical pattern of dirt

Review_right%20hand%20guard_zps2i3eimzb.

Take a close look to the right side of the abdomen. Here you will find some typical shades of dirt.

And (this is not really the weathering section:-) ) add black gaffer tape on the right shoulder

Missing the little hole at the top of the motar tube.

Take a look at the gaffe tape and the position of the blue box. That's typical for that trooper... try to fix it.

The upper radar dish is not white. It is a clear one. Because of the availability of a real clear Tupperware sun lid

is this not a mandatory change my friend. Just try to replace it in the future.

OK Chris, there are some major changes and some minor ones.

If you need any advice you will find it right here in your MEPD Brotherhood!

Or here: http://starwarsscreencaps.com/star-wars-episode-iv-a-new-hope-1977/28/

On page 28 you will find all reference shots you will need. BUT REMEMBER: THE ANH

SPECIAL EDITION IS MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE!!! So don't make your

trooper too clean:-) Keep the base weathering as it is:-)

If you have further questions just ask....

Good luck with the modifications my friend!

Cheers,

Felice

@ Chris - Excellent work so far, Troop! Not sure if it was mentioned before, but your UK Garrison left bell insignia must not be visible on your application. No problem adding it later after your activation though. Good luck and see you on the Elite Team soon! :td:

Hi Chris!

Your gear is coming along nicely. A few more mod updates and you will be among the Elite, Bro!

Reminder, if any other notable mod request come up before the end of the review, I will let you know! The MOVE ALONG Trooper is the most

popular choice and with the constant reviews on this version new details pop up.

Just a heads up, when you have completed the mods we need to see an updated front/back/sides views of you not of a display. And please post for the next pass your full gear with all you have and need:-) (see comments).

So let's start......

Your bucket becomes nicer and nicer. There are just some minor changes.

Weathering: I marked some spots on the original helmet so you can find out what to do. You just have to remove

some dirt and add some dirt and I'm fine...Just remove some brown dirt in the corners. Yes you are right to place some dirt on

this spots because it is logical. But if I compare the original bucket I can't find such a congeries of dirt on these spots. Just remove

a little bit and just leave some shades....

I don't like to stress you and I already see that you have done your homework about the ear.

But I have to see a more detail picture of this detail. Here is a very good example shot

Review_ear%20gap_zpsmkew4ctk.jpg

I can't find it in the CRLs (we have to do some reworks I think:-) ) but be so kind and remove the mesh behind the

teeth.....Thank you:-)

Thank you for the modifications of the last review result! You are really on the right way....just some notes

Gloves: you will do the Pre-break version. This version had two left hand guards on both hands. I just have to see it on the full body

pictures.

Shoulder pouch: I attached an example picture but this is also a typical one of this Trooper. The shoulder pouch lies on the

left shoulder more than on the chest armor. So try to replace it on the front armor picture

Upper blue box: Take a really close look to the box position. There is a gap between the two blue boxes and the upper box seems to be

falling down....just fixed with the gaffe tape

Cistern position: Look at the tilt of the cistern looking at it straight on. It leans to the right a bit. Just try to re-position the cistern.

CHECKED & CLEARED

Alright Chris, NICE WORK so far and very nice work on the mods. I give you some new homeworks.

And just a short note from my side: when you are making full body pictures try to emulate your position with the position of the Movie-Trooper. Ask a friend or your wife to make the pictures of you and compare them directly with the picture out of the movie. For example the pouldron position:

In the second pass the position was wrong. The position was right on your very first action shot:-)

Take care Brother and if you need some advice I will be there for you!

Cheers,

Felix
