clonecollector
I've been working on the TD little by little. I spent a lot of time resizing, reshaping, and refinishing the tops of the thighs. I also spent a lot f time resizing the shins to fit me. This Saturday I worked on a strapping harness that will hold up the legs using suspenders. I had to do some straightening up in my basement this weekend so I decided to put everything up on a mannequin to see how it looks. I'll be working on the shins again later this week. clonecollector
Been a long time... I'm working on finishing up this weekend. Here is the pauldron and MP40 pouches all weathered up. I weathered using layers of burnt sienna, raw umber and tan.

deadvision
Woo, congrats brother. Your armor looks good. I'm a bigger guy too. I'm a bit envious you got your thighs to fit accurately. Mine have inch and a half cover strip on the back. :/
clonecollector
Thanks guys! I'm a bigger guy too. I'm a bit envious you got your thighs to fit accurately. Mine have inch and a half cover strip on the back. :/ My armor is NE so the thighs had lots of material in the back to work with.
djrue
Great work! Looks awesome. Looking to build a sandy and these are great references. What specific hardware did you use to connect the chest plate and abs? I like that accurate look.
