Herzing66
Hello all, Wondering if anyone has any advice on how to fix the ear piece problem on my cap bucket? I purchased the armor from another trooper and he over trimmed the ear piece. I have attached pics to compare the difference. Would it be easier to reach out to the maker to get a new ear piece? Who makes the CAP armor/bucket? If possible can I add little bit of to the end of the incorrect ear? Any thoughts, suggestions would be great. Thank you! dutchy
Contact Scootch for some fresh ears. He makes the CAP-west and is also a member on the boards Problem should be solved in a jiffy. You could also trim the helmet a bit and then put the neck trim back on it so that it overlaps it a bit..

iconoclasta_88
Now, you could also just trim the bucket to meet the ear. Yes, sounds harsh, but I have learned in recent times that ANH armor was not perfect at all. So, maybe consider that too. It wont ruin it if you do it with a fair amount of care. Its not easy, but should not be that of a BIG deal. Saludos
longboard8
If you read that Tantive thread on White armor, it really supports the idea of not being perfectionist.
