pashnak
http://hollywood-gauntlet.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/005-raiders-story-conference.html In January of 1978, after a year of blockbuster success with STAR WARS and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg sat down with writer Lawrence Kasdan to hash out ideas for a new adventure film featuring a hero named Indiana Smith. Over the next few days, Lucas, Spielberg and Kasdan would continue to spitball ideas for what would become RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, leaving a tape recorder on to record their thoughts and ideas. What was said and put down on paper would turn into one of the most successful characters and franchises in Hollywood history. Now for the first time, the entire story conference has been recorded and scored with music and clips from the films, providing a rare insight into the creative process of Lucas, Spielberg and Kasdan and showcasing the strengths of creative collaboration.
