Bonded Hawk
I have been searching old threads trying to find the size of the snap used in the upper right corner of the ab plate. I see that much of the strapping yall use a 24 line snap. Is this the size of this one?

DarthAloha
Yes. Line 24 snap will work for the right hand snap and all your armor strapping needs. Look to Tandy leather for snaps and also buy the setting tool and anvil from them. Stay away from the dritz brand snaps and those stupid pliers. Hammer set is the way to go. DirtyBoy
And toes....lol But ya...if you are going for the snap strapping system don't skimp on the product. I used a few versions that just didn't hold. Went industrial then converted to Velcro
Bonded Hawk
The snap is just the one chest piece. The snaps are for leather work. Im using velcro to hold everything together. Ok now a velcro question. Will the industrial velcro (adhesive) say stuck to the armor? I live in a hot humid enviroment and thought someone said the bond to the armor wouldnt hold. DirtyBoy
I've never had an issue but I store my armor in a rolling cooler. Helps with the climate control. The industrial Velcro is really strong and as long as you get a dry adhesion you should be good
Bonded Hawk
Sounds good. We get temperatures in the upper 90's with high humidity.I thought I remember hearing a Fett talk about the volcro. Thanks BH
inglorious trooper
i used E6000 on the back of my industrial velcro even though it had a sticky back, i never had a problem with it coming off!
