I think it is great that Star Wars keeps making the paper and is a topic of discussion so much in the UK. Thanks for the post. I watch the old Star Treks only to remind me how much better Star Wars is. They pick on CGI, and some is bad, but the two don't even compare. Better story, better CGI/movie making and by FAR better acting. I think Lucas didn't want people to get caught up in all the 'that can't happen in a space vacuum' and just focus on the great and epic story. Star Trek is more about the social philosophy and Star Wars is more about a good old fashion good vs. evil and how it triumphs, just like Chris Quinn wrote. I don't even like the simple story lines in Star Trek, no depth. I am pretty sure I know where this group stands, but the two don't compare in my humble opinion.
