Sith-Necromancer Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 hi i´m tk-4334, im wearing a stormtrooper armor from www.movie-fx.de ill try to get a mepd membership, so i bought a lewis gun replica, a bino version 2, ammo pouches for belt and shoulder! i changed AB-plate, Lenses and knee plate. i waer a diamond plate now. so i bought a few items to weather my armor. i hope someone can give me any tipps and/or some help. i bought the following items http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e284/ ... ke8889.jpg im not sure if it is the right stuff to weather my armor !? thank u tk-4334 chris Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TD2802 Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 If you plan on permanent or semi-permanent weathering, you could use acrylics like in your picture. Many go with tempera paints however because they're easier to remove or reapply as needed - dampened cloth or sponge I think. Haven't tried personally since I've no intention of regressing back to clean. As you troop it will also naturally wear off in areas of your armor.
