  1. I'd like to but can't really afford it. I did have one of my pouches stolen during a trooping event. I am looking for the shorter ones for my ARC trooper armor. The fit better there. -Bill
  2. I'd like to see a good looking brest plate. All the ones I've seen so far have too much of a natrual look to them and don have the hard lines of the TK gear. I'm not much of an artist so I can't really explain what I think it should look like I just know the current ones all look really out of place with the rest of the armor.
  3. I'm useing them on my ARC trooper. They work really well for them. -Bill
  4. A long time ago someone posted some ammo pouches that they found that were really close, brand new but just a little short. At the time I picked up 3 of them but want to get some more. I can't seem to find the posts now. -Bill
  5. That looks horrible. you should send it to me and I'll throw it away for you. PM me for my address. -Bill
  6. They are the canadian version RT 3 piece stunt helmets.
  7. Here are some pics of my new ARC Trooper Costume:
  8. Sorry for the old picture of the Sandtrooper, I have upgraded to MEPD standards but don't seem to have any pictures of it. Right now he is on loan to a friend who will be wearing it for a Halloween party. -Bill
  9. I'm going to get you Sandtrooper - The true TD-4242: My dress uniform for when I am escorting Lord Vader: Coruscant Guard/Shocktrooper for escorting the Emperor: Special ops ARC Trooper for when I just need to kick ***!! se more pictures here: http://24.251.104.37:443/gallery/StarWarsCostumes
  10. 5' 10" here. I heard a rumor that the original casting call for stormtroopers was models 5' 10" - 6' 2" Don't know for sure if this was true or not but it sounded about right for the heights of all the troopers on screen.
  11. Did you look through the garrisons and find one that is close to you? Usually if you can find your garrison and talk to the GML you should be able to get in faster. -Bill
  12. Well, this will make a good time to suit up and make sure everything is good to go. I haven't gotten any good pictures of me sense I got the Sandtrooper completed. -Bill TD/TK/TC-4242
  13. The easiest and 99% exact match to the FX decals is the Rustolem Professional "Dark Machine Grey" found at Home Depot or Lowes. It used to be the Rostolem Hardhat dark grey and was the one suggested to be used in the AFX Armor building directions.
  14. Take it from a trooper deployed in the Dune Sea. To look right you have to get rid of the shine. I spent extra time making sure mine and all the ones I've help other do to take off the shine and make it look worn. Here is a recent picture of my bucket. Click here for more Here's me and Kris, he didn't get his stripped of shine quite as much as mine
  15. Ok, I'm going to be kinda critical here. I'd say over all it looks good, Good color, etc but... A little two uniform distribution. This is good for a first coating as it gives the long tearm weathered look over all. I usually use a combination of paint and goofoff to do this coat. It takes the shine off the ABS and gives it the sandy color. No detail grime buildup. Looking at the belt section and the forearm sections the divits dents and corners should have a bit more "grime" buildup then the higher surfaces. Then the highest surfaces and edges should be almost clean from being rubbed clean. It took me 6 months to figure out what I liked the best and I do have to say that you did a much better job then my first attempt. Now I've helped a couple of others get dirty and have kinda got it down pretty well.
  16. Here was my crappy job. The biggest problem with my first go at it was the armor was still clean under neither. So it really just looked like wet mud splashed on a shinny car finish. stripping this paint off really did wonders for my armor. Wow I just realized I haven't gotten any showoff pictures of my current armor and I have a new camera....hmmmm......
  17. My first job was horrid as well. So bad I had someone comment that it looked like I might have had bad diarea and couldn't get the armor off in time. I finally just came up with the story that I was stuck at the front of the squad first behind a sick bantha. In the end I think it made my armor better for it. Using goof-off to strip all the crappy (hehe) paint off really gave my armor that rugged worn look. -Bill
  18. Wow man, your dewback must have been sick!!
  19. I actually made a small mounting bracket to keep it sticking out a little ways so it wont get caught under the knee of the thigh section.
  20. That is sweet. Always glad to see others doing the mold work needed. only thing I noticed was that your knee plate doesn't have the bottom spike to it. is the one that I do. Take a look in the for sale section for my latest ebay auction.
  21. I put a bunch of Koto pics up in my gallery from all angles. Their packs really are the most accurate. More so then the Marimit. the Marmit seems to be a mix between the special edition and original versions with a few of their own things thrown in.
  22. Was a finger nail not quite enough to get it off? Every time I've had a paint run on abs I've been able to scratch it off with a finger nail and it worked about perfect.
  23. I took a bunch of picutres of the Koto Sandtrooper so people clould compare it. It is one of the most accurate sandtrooper toys I've ever seen. http://www.sandtrooper.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=38
  24. Hey Josh I know you guys are busy, I'm in Kevin's Garrison, I'm just yanking your chains. -Bill
