  1. I used to own one and they're awesome. The real weight feels great in your hands, though not all that great for trooping. E-11 conversions are always exciting, so keep us posted!
  2. I'm so sorry to hear this happened. What a heart attack.
  3. I was planning to come up for the day, but got tied up with new hardware installations at home. <_<
  4. That looks really, really nice!
  5. I'm working on building the ultimate Man-Cave in my new 17' x 21' Rec Room. It will be my current project at least for the next four months or so. Not sure if I can make a few radios in between or not.
  6. So wonderful, I'm really happy for you and your family. Everyone in our circle of friends is getting older, wiser, growing up, buying homes, getting married and having children. It starts to put everything into perspective with sharper focus. Rolf, I think you'll make a great father and really admire the new journey ahead of you.
  7. Buckets off to all those who've served. You have my utmost respect and admiration.
  8. Very interesting news and I'm really curious to see how it turns out.
  9. Congratulations!!!! All my best to you and your new family.
  10. It's up. I recently switched web hosts and there was no 'www' resolution in the old link. Thanks for catching that, I just fixed it. http://www.tk1536.com/mh_backpack_instructions/page1.html
  11. The one on the far right is amazing! Looks like the real-deal.
  12. The black tube parts you can recycle from the O2 canister that you don't use - the one that comes with most Stormtrooper armor.
  13. Commendable, for sure! However, I'm afraid the back pack just won't cut it. Needs to be more similar to what's seen on screen.
  14. Years ago? I wonder if that was back when Marcus was MIA. I know at the time, I deployed a bunch of people and then Zac hopped in. If it was before Marcus, then I'm not sure who was responsible. I'm sure if you repost the pics, we can take care of that.
  15. Vietnam era ruck sacks and their frames are extremely difficult, if not impossible to find. During my research for a Vietnam era living impression, I discovered they're highly sought after, causing ebay auctions to frequently go over $200. The actual frames used in the films were Boy Scout frames. This is documented in the big, thick 'Making Of' book. The exact frame, to my knowledge, has not been located and the ones we frequently find need to be hacked up to look correct.
  16. That's why the first run of radios was limited, to work out these kinds of things. Going forward, to make things simple, screen accurate and reduce costs, I'm just going to paint them flat black with krylon fusion, and include decals for a small charge if they're wanted seperately.
  17. John, what is the point of all this? I gave you recognition as being a part of this project in the first post. Our business agreements need not concern anyone else. Regardless of our "falling out" your recognition is the same, so why all this drama BS??? It's people like you who ruin this hobby, who can't leave well enough alone. Shall we remind everyone you were banned from The Dented Helmet and CloneTroopers.net over much the same crap? How about the demise of Clone-Empire.net, you firing and driving away an admin staff of almost a dozen people, all of whom could no longer stand your conspiracy theories and dramatic out-bursts. Finally after putting up with it for almost two years, I had enough of you and your antics. I don't know how or why anyone would want to work with you ever again. Furthermore, as to your new vac-formed radio project sign-up list, that's what we used to call "vapor-ware" and it's something that you were vehemently against on the CE forums because it withheld sales from other prop vendors.. yet here you are, doing the just that! I've said this time and time again John, you need to seek medical help. You have a serious mental illness of some sort that has manifested itself as a negative influence on this hobby. I and many other have seen it, tried an intervention and yet you ignore us. Thread is locked.
