No that is prior to dyeing it. I sent those pics through before the crl had been finalised, at the time there was a lot of discussion as to what colour the plash actually was. This is the one I used Even after 4 rounds of dyeing it is very hard to get it pure black, nut for me a very dark black / green looks more the part. Any uneveness in the dye also just adds to the weathering affect.

You’re right about the bottom corner being buttoned up to keep it from dragging. on your second pic you can see the draw strings stitched into the plash in a crescent shape? By pulling these tight you will form the square into a cape shape with hood (hope that makes sense?) you can see a pic of mine from behind in the crl picture library: http://databank.501st.com/databank/File:Mimbpalatka1.jpg The material isn’t wool, it is more like a canvas and, to perform its intended military function, it has a waterproof coating. The technique I found for dyeing is simple persistence, keep dyeing it until it gets to colour you want, I think mine took 4 rounds. I then weathered by spraying various shades of grey acrylics. I weathered using acrylics, the to seal it got a can of the cheapest nastiest hairspray from coles (I see you're an Aussie). Worked perfectly so far.

So just add E22 as an optional weapon and a line about weathering being light or very light to the existing crystal patrol crl. Job done.

Fair enough, I'm a big believer in consistency over crls with shared components. I'd be happy to take pics of my shoulder bridges attached to the back / chest.

Well, to look at it from another angle: does the wording about the shoulder bridges being inserted into slots at the back and under tabs on the chest even need to be a level 2 or 3 requirement? I'd argue that it is a very distinctive part of the armour (one of the more obvious differences between R1 and OT) and should be a requirement for basic. In addition there is currently only 1 maker of this armour anyway and while others are in the works I believe they all have this method of attachment.

Wouldn't we use the same wording already in the Rogue One TK and Jedha Sandtrooper crls (since it is the same armour)? Level 1: "They may be affixed with Velcro or adhesive. Level 2: blank Level 3: "These shall be inserted behind the chest tabs and into slots of the back plate" I really think we"ll struggle to get a screenshot showing the indent on the handplate, they just aren't on screen long enough. We know it's there because it is R1 armour but as for actually seeing it....

I can't rember having seen it written down anywhere official. I believe the Solo visual guide just refers to Stormtroopers on Mimban (I'm at work so cant check).
