  1. I'm really toying with getting one of them.
  2. 60! wow. To me he will always be Luke. A young farm boy, who should turned to the dark side like he was supposed to like his father.
  3. Are these ok Juan? -- Red: Match the weathering on the right forearm -- Blue: Trim the top and bottom edges so that they are just off the squares (do the same with knee belt). and -- Green: Maybe drill a hole on the mortar tube -- Purple: Match the brow. I t should be more straight -- -- ---
  4. Thanks guys, if I can get Juan to like it, I'm on for a winner. I can smell it already.
  5. I have stripped the weathering back and started again. I think I may have it. --- --- Any comments? ps: Cheers Mike (Silv8rfox) for coming round to take my photos.
  6. They don't have Wal-Mart in England nor do we have Gun Stores. Were more civilised in that matter, it's a sward duel at dawn, my dear chap... You could try Maplins, you'll be sup prised what you can get there.
  7. So your saying, the buy can't trust the seller because they don't know them but their willing to let another total stranger hold the money... I don't know most people on here per'se, but as a MEPD officer I trust the system in place, ie; 501st honesty. When I purchased my TS, I sent $120 to Cal for 6 months and I received the armour ok. If it was from a new Legion trooper I would be a little hesitant to part with cash, but as far as the legion goes, I'm happy. As was said in a previous post, trooper helping troopers. If I did have a problem with a purchase I would hope a local trooper from the area of the seller would pay a visit on my behalf, as I would this side of the pond.
  8. Ok. I have taken a few shots outside with natural daylight. - - Chest - Lid --- What do you think now?
  9. Cheers, I don't think the photos or camera gives it justice. Under natural light it looks just like the shot of Davin. I think the splash across the chest is spot on. I agree there may be some areas that look superficial. I will work on them. I have looked at all the SWAT's with a similar application and no two are the same.
  10. I have the free edition on my PC. It's ok.
  11. That is fantastic. The P&P is $80 for me if I was to order it to the UK.
  12. Thanks for all the feedback guys. I have redone the armour and sorted the brow out. SWAT PHOTOS UPDATED. -- -- -- -- -- What do you think Juan?
  13. EDITED WITH NEW PHOTOS. Name: Marcus Simon Legion ID #: TD-2479 Forum Name: The Dirty Trooper Garrison: UK Garrison Trooper Emulated: Desert Sergeant --- REFERENCE SHOTS --- MY ARMOUR --- BELT --- MY LID --- COMPARISON SHOTS --- FIELD PACK --- BOOTS --- GLOVES --- --- Member must currently be deployed as an MEPD Police Officer to be considered. - yes Weathering must be appropriate to screen used armor. Too little or too much weathering will not be allowed. - yes Pack, pauldron, and weapon combinations must match a specific trooper a seen on screen. - yes ---
  14. God speed to your nephew. I have been to Iraq and Afgan, so I know what's going through his mind. May the force be with him.
