Modified as per instruction (I found I had a ridged Prym snap), photo below:

Hi Michael, with the snaps I have the male snap is made in two parts, the connecting male snap and a back plate which rivets the two sides either side of the armour, see below: Do I drill a bigger hole and glue the top of the male snap (left of picture) directly into the armour? If that's correct will the snap still close correctly and form a good strong connection? Cheers, Al

Firstly thank you!! Awesome to be so close My abdomen snap doesn't have the pronounced ridge as shown in your reference photo, see mine below: I used these snaps based on discussions on various forums: If you can advise a correct snap I will replace asap and take a photo. Cheers, Al
