Just FYI, the helmet believed to be used to make the new molds is NOT a prototype, but one AA made after the productionw as over and fiddled with it. He told me via phone conversation that he made about 30 helmets for family and friends... The helmet was NOT a prototype at all... TE

Your helmet is a 4th gen recast of one of my helmets, kown as a meatsock helmet. The guy has no shame and claims he cast and original... You did a great job on it though! TE

Thats not one of my helmets. Not formed well enought to be mine, but nice still. It is a GF/Authernticprops helmet. Most likely the same for the armor. TE

AhA! Give away my scecrets huh!? Just kidding... OK, here is the kicker. The color is actuallly more like khaki. You need: Krylon Fushion: River rock satin Krylon Fushion: Gloss White NOW, to be 100% authentic, since the helmets were a bit off white compared to the rest of the armor, they make a new color in fushion called Dover White. This is the closest color I have ever seen that matches the off white of the real helmets used in the film. Just a side note. Over the years I have found that only krylon is a paint that can be layed with different colors over itself and does not crack or cause issues. DONT try this with another brand or mixing and matching. You will get horrible results! Good luck! TE

Dont know.. Not even sure if I will take it any farther than this... If I decide to, Fiberglass is the most likely candidate for getting it spot on using silicone molds... TE

This is a copy 1:1 of my 2nd ANH helmet. Reason it looks so funky is that it is done as a rapid prototype and it is hard to photograph. All the formed helmets to date look great, but NOTHING can beat an IDENTICAL looking helmet, and this cannot be done with molding a real helmet, and then forming and trying to make it the same.. as the saying goes: it's only original once... well, I think I may have found a way to get as close as anyone can... TE

I want to set the record straight that Seth and I have worked out the diffrences I had brought up about recasting of a helmet and I offer a full apology to him. The helmet is question was not cast by him, but another person and in my over-zealous attempt to find out the person that did so, I brought him into the mix. He did not cast the helmet.. my attempt to find the person had me a weeee bit obessesed and I ask his forgiveness for dragging him into it... Wanted to set the record straight and again one more time, say I am sorry... Thanks and Mods please delete the locked thread... TE
