  1. OK guys, here it is. I could beleive it until I found the **** thing. It is: The tupperware hamburger press and keeper. Now, the vintage version is the one you need. Not the new one. Slightly changed it is. You need ot make sure you get the bottom and at LEAST 4 total to be correct. Dont say I didnt love you guys! Matt
  2. Yes! I have known what this part is for years.. Sorry I thought everyone knew. It is still made today, although the outer lip edge is slightly off. Look for it on ebay as well. It is a meat keeper. That is for the trooper on the right. The trooper on the left has a large clear storage container. I actually found 3 of them and could not believe it. I am compiling a list of the parts and their numbers since tupperware does not change them. BTW, in the star wars universe that is called the: personal effects/food storage plasteel container (imperial issue) I got bored at work yesterday and I went through and named EVERY PART of the packs. If I have the time I will try to get a chart done soon.
  3. When I get home this weekend I will measure. It sounds about right. I will let you know as soon as I can! Matt
  4. No hijack! I did not say i can SELL them, only that I found them and SHOULD have offered them is what i was getting at. I would not do that here.. teh RPF yes, I hate the RPF... Here, no.. Love you guys too much! Matt
  5. It is not a lid, but a vacuum pitcher lid. It should not be flat. TE
  6. ****, I can get these for only $6.00 and they have a box full.. Oh well... Matt
  7. Not just yet guys. I am compiling a list of items and alsoa pictorial for certain parts for different packs. Once we do that, we will let people know. I start a job tomorrow and I wont have time to post everday from now on.. stay tuned. This is some slap your head saying 'DOH! information we have coming! Matt
  8. I would like to see what people think they are so we can make an educated yes or no or it goes toss to the trash.. Post here and lets see what the concensus is.. Survey Says!... Matt
  9. In the scene where they enter docking bay 94, yes he has the larger ones, BUT! When they rush teh falcon, he has the smaller ones and the lead trooper has the larger ones. They accidentally swapped the belts between scenes. So, it can be worn both ways and be correct! Matt
  10. Just as a side note, on another thread I reprted that I found the basis for the bellows pump on the packs! YAY! sadly not the top though.. Just the main body of it... BUT! One more piece to go and I think we have this all figured out for the hardest to find parts! WOOHOO! Matt
  11. Oh no, not a new job please. I am just looking around for my own items and more than willing to share with you folks. I am done with SW for the most part. Divorce left a sour taste in my mouth for SW and a ton of other things really. Lets just say I want ALL sandtroopers to be movie accurate, armor included! So the pack is the thing that really mystifies us most. The toliet tank neck seems to be the last and most fun part to try to find. So, on we go... Matt
  12. Not going to show it JUST yet... Hang on a little bit... just be patient! Matt
  13. I dont make parts anymore. contact Tony Guns.. he can get you hooked and on the list... Matt
  14. This is a HUGE one guys. I finally found the **** bellows thing on the lower right side. Not at all what we thought it was. I was so shocked to see it I left it at my buddies house 2 hours away! DOH! As soon as he mails it to me I will show pics. I rank this Right with the correct pans in making an accurate pack. Stay tuned! Matt
  15. I was 10 minutes from there, I moved back to Oregon after my wife wanted a divorce. Sorry! Matt
  16. ****, thats not an oil pan.. It is a transmission pan for an automatic transmission. Size and depth of the cooling fins would not work for an oil pan. That is an AT tranny pan. Size suggests some kind of military vehilce and IF there are not holes where the bolts are supposed to go, they are vacc'd over a metal pan. ****... Well, start looking at large military vehicles... Matt
  17. It more than likely cannot be an oil pan guys. The main reason is their is no lip to seal to the engine block and hold a cork gasket in place. Yes, developing trays are the best bet. More to come... hopefully soon ... wish I had my new computer! Matt
  18. It will be while before I can get the pics up and I am sorry about that. folks computer is so messed up I cannot load a single image anymore. I am waiting for a laptop from my buddy so hopefully soon. Braks, well I am sorry but I dont think ANYONE knows the correct dimensions and I am sure that if it looks pretty close we will just have to work with what we got. I know we spoke in the past about the genral size, but being dead on I think is a pure impossibility so many years later and since no packs survived. I did see the SE packs at the archives, but those are a HUGE formed shell and a few parts added on here and there. Again, as soon as I can upload I will share! Matt
  19. Thanks for the well wishes guys and also the kudos! I will have pics up soon. Folks computer is REALLY slow and I will do what I can. I will also show the other boxes I found for the officer pack. Coming soon! Matt
  20. Well, it was a weird day for us doing the normal goodwill run we do at least once a month. I found 3 of the main upper right boxes on the 'move along' officer pack and just whenI thought we were done, BAM! I found the basis for the main pack pans under some other crap items. The pan does NOT have the ribs on it. I believe that the pans for the main pack parts were formed as it would have been too flexible to use. We know andrew aintwortha$hit was not the only vac former used for ANH, so deductive reasoning makes a ton of sense here I think. The basis for the other parts used on the pack from the same maker really just screams total logic. Sadly I was only able to find one pan. But one is good enough for a mold. I will be making on in the next month, well two actually and seeing what we can do. I know when we made our packs we used the marmit as a basis for measuring, as did others here. Plain fact is that it is WAY too tall for the pack, the height of the boxes we made. So, this has the ability to be the most accurate packs to be made real fast based on this new find. Pics will come soon and I will show them off once I wake up and have some coffee. Also a few more goodwills to hit today so I will see what the total take is. I did also find a vac pitcher and am hoping to have a few more soon. I know Guns found some! WOO! Matt
  21. The Man Cave is killer! It is such a nice litte cottage with all the amenities and has some killer decorations in it. I wish I had a place like that to escape to to build armor, store molds, watch movies and basically get away if need be. Just remember the little monsters will attack you in the AM and you MUST bring and offering of beef Jerky to make friends with them faster. Tony and Faye are the best, so are the kids.. You will be VERY loved and also very well taken care of there. I wish the world had more people in it like the Sagun's. Seriously, we need more people like this! A 5-Star rating for them! Matt
  22. I did have the time of my life with tony and his family and also the PAc 501st. I cannot believe how fast 9 days went, but the memories will last a lifetime. I miss them all so much and really wish I was still there. Happy? elated is more the word to use while being with such close friends I consider family. I was there the worst day of my life, the 16th. The divorce was final that day and Tony and I worked and the family and I ate dinner and had a great time. It took my mind mostly off of the day and the events that happend. In WA state, a divorce can take only a few months as mine did. She went in and stood before the judge and claimed the marriage was over and all paperwork was correct at 11am PST, just as I was starting my day in Hawaii. It was a sad day really. Part of me died actually. I did not want this divorce and deep down I dont think she wanted it either. I should thank her worthless father for pounding that idea into her head I guess. What a loser... But, alas life goes on. We formed, ate beef kerky, saw ALL the killer sites thanks to Tony and Chris, and felt so welcome the entire time. The plane ride was awesome, and I am so sorry I got ill. North Shore Matsumotos was the BEST! If you ever get there, have the shave ice! Kincaids was awesome too. Great to eat with the family and Mallory is like a little sis I never had. I dont think you will ever find a better person nor family than Tony and Faye. Remarkable people and a remarkable warm open home to family and friends. One day I hope to repay them for their hospitality and love. Thanks to the Sagun family for everything... Much Love, Matt (I have my shades on now)
  23. Hey guys.. I love the fact that you are all loving the work that was done and I am so thrilled and humbled that you love the work that I do.. BUT.... I am getting requests and PM's for prices and also availibility and here is what I have to post here: I am NOT associated with the sales or prices that the new mold owners are going to institute. I know 2 suits and a ton of helmets were made. what I dont know is the new owners plan. I wish I could say and I just cannot. I was a hired gun and did my magic and did the FYI as to how to make the molds and plastic work in conjunction and create suits. I am out. I finished the last 2 helmets with some help and I am all done. When I return to Oregon on Sat morn, TE is gone forever. Only the suit name lives on. Kinda like Levis and Op shorts. It is now just a brand and not a person or institution. I love you all and I wish I could have finished all the orders you all wanted to have filled. Sadly this could not happen. I will be here for questions and advice, but nothing more. TTY all soon! Matt
  24. It is DONE! WE finished the 2 suits and 6 helmets! I am tired, but happy at the same time. Awesome looking and they are ready to roll! Forming went great and the sand suits are so choice... if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up... mint..?? Matt (formally and now offically retired- trooperexpert) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, we hit a HUGE snag today. We could not get the parts to form today. Seriously.. we racked the brains, and it took 3 of us to FINALLY get the machine to work properly as well as figure out the oven had a 50 degree difference in the actual temp and the displayed one. Sooooooooo after almost a full day lost, we finally got it all done and working and the magical pictures will be coming. We are doing a TON of helmets and a few suits. These are killer and I am just stoked that the new owners will be doing these and doing them well too! So get ready, get set! Most of the helmets are being double signed and will be numbered as well with bumpy cap and backs only! Pics coming tomorrow/today sometime! Matt
  25. Well, sad news to all... The molds and forming WONT work in Hawaii due to barametric pressure and also humidity. It is a sad thing, but we decided to destroy the molds and just let the suits die altogether. I do apologize for getting peoples hopes up and all.. Please forgive us. We feel bad but hey, when it wont work, what is one to do? GOTCHA! The forming is going awesome! Could no resist that one. We will have some pics soon, and the new former is learning quickly and accurately how to do this task. You will all be in good hands! Let the rock and tomato throwing begin! Matt
