  1. Hi John, I really like the overall look of your kit, fits you well, but I do agree with jcalus on the chestweathering which still looks a little too solid and to me also too simple, the trooper I´m emulating is wearing the same chest and helmet and I´ve spend quite a lot of time trying to get it right and I´m still not 100% happy with it. I have multiple layers of weathering on my chest, always added some colour, took some of again then added some more...

Your helmet looks really good but I´m afraid you will have to close the two teeth.

I also think that you will have to take off the UK Garrison decal (not allowed for SWAT)

That´s an awesome DLT! Who is the maker? Just one thing: it looks factory-fresh: add some weathering to it ;)

    Good luck with your review!

Hi dirty brothers;) I´m finally quite happy with my work and feel that it´s presentable here, so her we go (please keep in mind that the weathering was applied a little more heavily than in the reference pics on purpose as these pics are first of all... old ;) and second of all quite pixelated and many times the colours seem different - just think of the blue or battleship grey discussion concerning the wet wipe bottles )

  3. I think that the tape goes around the radio as well and the tape that goes across horizontally was applied prior to the vertical one and attaches to the left side of the tray. Due to the lack of space between the radio and siphon they obviously didn't attach it on the right side, this might also have lead to the radio comming loose during filming and hanging lower on the right side... and to me this would also explain why the vertical tape looks twisted in the middle of the radio and at the bottom where it has been attached to the tray.

That's some proper research you're doing there Thomas, way to go!:duim:

  4. Thanks Olli and Kirk!

Yeah, it's a pity that f... photobucket has shut down all my pics. At the moment I'm busy getting my armour and new helmet ready for swat and I'm somehow not really willing to spend so much time again reposting all the pictures that those retards at pb have taken down but might reconsider it;)

If you should need any pics Olli, just pm me your email address and I will send those pics to you:salute:

  5. Hi Bradley,

good looking kit and your DLT looks ace as well. :)

I think the codpiece should rather have a rivet instead of a snap and you might also want to consider removing the rivet from the right side of your ab plate (the one right beside the snap)

I'm also not sure if the canvas pouch on your belt is approvable but might be wrong there, maybe that was only for SWAT.

    Good luck with your review!
