Love it, really well done mate!

Man you did a **** of a job, that backpack is amazing.
I also like your attention to details like the twisted left shin!
Looks like a very strong application to me, good luck with your review bro!

Man that is great, thanks Felix!
I'm on holidays hiking in the mountains now for one week, but as soon as I'm back next Friday, I'll get to work, starting with cleaning my boots!

Don't forget to order two slings, I have made the mistake of ordering only one at first, just to realise that I need two attached to eachother.

Thanks mates!I hope so.
I'm really excited!

Nice work mate!

Hey Gledde, nice to see you here
Let's see the rest of the pics!

I also realised I didn´t add any detail pics of my boots (originally black leather sprayed white) and the knee ammobelt which had to be moved down by many troopers before, so I moved it down as well but it might not be very clear in the full body shots, so here it is:
Cheers mates, looking forward to being reviewed!

In Roger´s (spOOL68) thread I also learned that he had to tone down the coffeestain on his Pauldron, so I toned down mine even further as it was still too solid for my liking. Reading many of the SWAT threads, I learned that it is oviously the remains of some kind of sticker that was on the Pauldron, so I still tried to emulate the effect of actual residue.

Yeah right Roger, I saw it when I studied your application and approval process
So off with the old ring, had to dremel it off:
and on with the new one, I also used this chance to add the inner barrel with cooling fins, just to realise after completing everything, that the cooling fins of the Lewis Gun don´t actually go around all the way.... well however, this shouldn´t hinder my approval I hope as you actually never really see it on screen or at least not clearly.
also used the opportunity too work on a new scope for my Bapty blaster as I went too crazy with the weathering on the old one and didn´t like it anymore.
It´s not of any interest for my SWAT approval but everybody likes pictures

Thanks Michael, that's good news!
I'm currently reworking the front end/ barreltip of my T-21. The ring was too thick and a little too wide, so I have changed that and have also added the original inner barrel with the cooling fins around it, will post pics tomorrow.

Wow, you really put a lot of effort and precision work with the nylon thread into your build, awesome!
I was thinking about doing that to my gun as well but I'm afraid of screwing it up. How did you attach the thread to the barrel? Spray glue?

Congrats Bradley, well deserved! Great work!

Hi Ben, that's a good-looking kit, I especially like your helmet, I guess it's a TM?
They will probably ask you for some more pics showing the six rivets on the side of your armour and the backside of the male snap on the right side, same goes for the snaps in your codpiece and butt as well as the elastic shoulderstraps, so add some closeups.
Don't forget to add the two missing screws on your ears.
You seem to be a big guy, the gap between your backplate and the kidneyplate might be too big, I would suggest using longer elastic shoulder straps. Your shin armour also looks quite short, there are lots of armorers offering longer shins, but that might not be necessary so wait for the final review.
Try to shorten the straps connecting your shoulder bells with the elastics a bit to move the shoulder bells closer to the chest plate.
And get rid of that thermal detonator, we don't need that... we've got big guns! Your DLT looks ace!
Good luck for your review!

Cool idea, very inspiring, now I want to build one as well!
Great work!

Great picture!

Yeah, that was such a nice surprise, I can´t thank you enough for doing this!
-
Thanks Daniel!

Although nobody pointed that out, I have decided to tone down the "coffee stain"/stamp on my pauldron as it looked too solid to me before.

Awesome work mate and I just love your Bapty DLT!

Looking really good now!! Well done mate

Yeah, you really are darn close to UKSWRATH's chestweathering, hadn't checked out his thread so far.
As far as the teeth are concerned, the "stop that ship" helmet that your trooper is wearing has only six teeth cut out.
-
Oh yeah, for everyone interested, the helmet is a DA / Andy Rodgers HDPE helmet with TM ears, the rest of the armour is all TM. The T-21 is completely selfbuilt. Forgot to mention that in my first post.

Nice pics mate!
I've put some foam inserts into my thighs at the back and in the shin right behind the sniper plate, keeps them apart far enough, worked very well so far.
