  1. Thanks for the tips! I used Scootch's build thread mostly and have seen Mike's. I don't have a riveter, and would prefer something that would be A) easy to break down and reassemble for shipping and B)not really show any screws on the outside. LOL, the first awesome pack I built was all zip ties and screws. While not at all accurate, the whole thing broke down inside a 15 qt Sterilite for shipping. With the frame alone on this one I am SOL on that I think. So I guess getting the trays together as invisible as I can would be the best. I like the hinged idea, how does the mount for that look when the pack is closed?
  2. Hey all, Just wondering how everyone attached their seed trays together. I was looking at the various build threads, but only saw 1 or 2 that mentioned how they did it. Just curious to see what methods everyone has used. Thanks!
  3. No issues here with Windows 7 64-bit and Firefox 3.5.7.
  4. I scored a room at the Red Roof Inn which is half a block from the con for 5 nights for $226!!!
  5. I'll be there. Let's get another MEPD group shot this year!
  6. Now the question is: How do we get this bad boy over to the US for Celebration 5?
  7. *Image removed at the request of the Man* Credit goes to TK7503 for getting a video cap. It BEGINS! We have to get a group shot going like we did at C4.
  8. Great times! I loved mad macking on Adrianne Curry. That girl has a fetish for men in armor! Adrianne's Myspace Pics
  9. Alrighty. I hosted the avatar on imageshack, and used the link instead of directly uploading it to MEPD servers, and that seems to work. Still no luck on the personal photo, and any profile I view has no personal photo either. I e-mailed you the pictures I was using.
  10. Hey-o. Hate to be a pest, but now my personal photo and avatar aren't showing up either, as I have heard some other members talk about as well.
  11. I totally dumped everything out of my browser cache and cookies, and even ran CCleaner, and still having the issue.
  12. Anyone else having to log in every time? I have been having this problem since the update. Tried clearing out my cookies and cache, no luck.
  13. Oh and an oldie but a goodie, this one out of armor with the star of Fanboys (which will someday maybe make it to theaters) Ms Kristen Bell.
  14. Guess who's back? Wizard World this time around, and the ladies couldn't keep their hands off of me. Some of the lovely Suicide Girls Gotta love the Gladiators!
  15. I hope you charged more than $10... Most definitely!
  16. Wait for the DVD. They should have left well enough alone after Last Crusade. George had way too much to do with this movie. I think he has revealing photos of Spielberg somewhere from some college experimentation. It's the only reason I can see for Stevie letting George rape the original trilogy much the same way he did with Star Wars. Too much CGI, too cheesy, and so ridiculously unbelievable that a 5 year old wouldn't buy into it. Three things that ruin this movie: the refrigerator, the monkeys with Mutt, the Ants, what the crystal skull was, Cate Blanchett, and where was the whip? A couple more then 5. If you do go see this movie, forget the first trilogy. Actually, watch Temple, and then go see it. Then you might be setting yourself up to watch an Indy movie on par for what you know. I can only hope the Indy franchise has the same curse the Star Trek one does, that for every horrible flick the next one will redeem the series.
  17. I know. I wish the monicker "The Dirty Trooper" wasn't already taken. Around here I am known for my dirtballness. LOL, my friends and I were debating putting a balloon and air pump inside the cod piece, so when I saw a hot chick, I could pump it up and make the cod flare out. Maybe for next year.
  18. I was totally blown away by the Metroid girl as well. She definitely had the best costume there.
  19. I was looking around for the good old chicks dig armor thread, and couldn't find it anywhere. If I'm blind, let me know so I can move this there. Anyway, I trooped Anime Central this weekend. It's near Chicago in Rosemont. Lots of young ladies show up every year, and they can't keep their hands off a man in armor. Here's some pics: I think the boy rangers were a little jealous! Twins! It's not too often I run into anyone with a bigger BFG then mine!
  20. I picked up a similar one at ****'s sporting goods for about $20 last year. Pretty good deal. I shipped mine to C4 USPS, and it held up, so durable enough.
  21. Birthday - 8/31/1980 - 8310. Not too original. All the cool numbers were taken.
  22. Excellent. Thanks a million! I am looking forward to meeting some of you guys at C4.
