  2. ohhh interesting... i do wanna upgrade my toolbox as well..
  3. Nice job trooper. I have a Crashmann too, love his kit.
  4. Almost there Andy, should be deployed soon.
  5. Ended up pulling another one out and honing it clean. Filled with epoxy sculpt and drill/tap new hole.. So far so good...
  6. First troop down with the new TKTaklie and the pouch changes.. Went perfectly.. No changes needed at all.. Everyone loved it..
  7. Yeah can cut the parts i need to stay on frame and the rest just fill in.. just didnt want to do that if i could find parts somewhere..
  8. Yup it is. I cut right behind the bolt head.. the rest of the bolt is seized and not coming out of the plastic piece where the nut is.. I may just fill in the ends of the tubes and make new ones.. do have a nice tap set used to doing v8 blocks... :-P
  9. See image.. its the white plastic that goes in the tubes. ive pulled out mine n/p just need replacements as i had to cut the bolts..
  10. Morning troopers, I decided to get started on the frame conversion this weekend and upgrade my Current pack.. Got it cut down to size but the bolts in the frame holding the supports are all seized. Let it sit in an oil bath for 24 hours still didn't budge... so i had to cut the bolts.. Just needed to move the top support. I need some of the white inserts for the frame tubing (integrated nut) I have stainless screws (same thread) instead of the aluminum ones. Is there a supplier for these ? Thanks all Chris
  11. As promised here is the loop i made.. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byv9Mb6kqrAsYzRmSlE5M2JLX0U/view?usp=sharing
  12. Yeah thats not an issue, just need to get it up on google drive, dont have the file here at the office.. its about 400MB, can get it up over the weekend.
  13. Mine is done and its working great. Made a custom audio loop combining several TD and ME loops. Removed everything but radio chatter and typical interference.. Main loop is about 35min long. I have also fine tuned the setting in the sketch for my setup as modifying parameters via text file is a pain. In my opinion this is way beyond the icomm, response is better and the customization is just awesome.. My icomm is for sale with new battery.. In the end i was able to get everything, TKtalkie, BT mic receiver, 5v 2600 battery and 10W aker in my shoulder pouch.. I have the parts to integrate the new BT setup for config but dont think i need to do it as its now fine tuned.. We will see..
  14. The re-fule sources work great, just dont use the docking station for changing its useless, plug in directly and they all charge well.. One kept the TKTalkie running the loop for almost 16 hours.. I would say they are sufficient. Do like the source i got for helmet fans better though the black-web 2800 lasts a lot longer.. But for 19 for 3 Re-fule 2600's im not complaining lol Troop on all..
  15. In addition to my helmet power cell i picked up a while ago, i just picked up the following at a deal 19.99 for the set.. Check out radio shacks, Will test out this weekend and report back.. Should be good for the TKtalkie me thinks.. https://re-fuel.com/grab-n-go-family-pack.html
  16. Looking good trooper, should be an easy deployment..
