  1. Yeah working on details now and calling my broker for clearance..
  2. I was thinking about having a case or 2 shipped to my US holding company in NY and drive over to get them... Just not sure what customs will say, there has to be a reason they are not sold here....
  3. Absolutely a work of art.. im using some of these technics :-)
  4. I had to cut and move the straps for installation to my belt as well... I will be replacing it soon anyways with another from Anthony.
  5. Problem with that for me is 99% of the sellers wont ship into Canada from the USA.. Gonna have to find an alternate, might have to get a custom paint mixed..
  6. OK.. Rust-Oleum "Satin Slate Blue" and "Lake Blue" are not available here in Canada, any alternates ?
  7. Welcome to the Dirty Side... Like many have said before " ANH screen shots and approved SWAT submissions " are the way to go early in the build also great for weathering as well. Good luck on your build.
  8. Looks great, should clear no problem at all.. Easy.
  9. Welcome to the dirty side.
  10. Thanks for the great Information Eric. looking forward to seeing the MEPD evolve.
  11. Thanks, I'm on hold till i get a new pack built.
  12. I love my T21 made by Blaster 8266, its a very visually stunning piece & it breaks down easily for transport. My entire first troop i had nothing but great comments on it. Only draw back is the weight its gotta be 10-12lbs. I will be in the market for a HF DLT for a secondary to my T21. Have an E11 it just doesn't fit the look :-) but great for big crowds. Pros on any BFG - You look bad @ss Cons - Large and hard to maneuver in large crowds. On a side note handlers do a great job helping us navigate the crowds too (Less chance of a weapon collision)
  13. Another Dirtyboy pack for The Great White North.. Thanks Rick.
  14. Thanks guys, yeah i will build a completely new pack and pass this one on to another trooper as it will be used for trooping only (pay it forward situation) Rick let me know when you can about the kit you may have kicking around.
  15. Nice, yeah that's my issue no time here too, it has recently become thin.. Thanks, good luck on you submission when you get there.
  16. Yeah i think there is a lot more wrong with the pack, it was a local (almost free), just not sure if its worth a rebuild. I'm intrigued to see what Felice has to say about the pack. I assume thats my only issue
  17. Felice, Thats too bad about the pack, its a much older pack, guess i need to bite the bullet and talk to Dirty, was trying to avoid the bad cad to usd exchange :-) Thanks for the heads up. Chris

  19. I followed pandatrooper's post on the oily and dirt method. http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=7290 What i found worked for me was apply a thick coat of a light brown let sit for 10-15 min, dab and twist lightly until you reach the effect you want as a base. Keep in mind after doing this on a few pieces and using the same spot on the damp rag you can dab the clean areas of armor with the rag and it will dull it up nicely as you have wet paint on it. After the base drys for about 24 hours you can hit it with a much darker mix. doing the same as the base layer you can achieve a great look. here are a few pics of my armor weathering crazyness.. As you can see the first layer was a lighter brown. i messed up on the 2nd layer but it was getting there. As seen above my 3rd layer was much better still a darker mix helped give the armor the "dirty a while" look.. Here is a final result after 4 layers. I know i will have to make some spot changes to get swat.
