  3. Wayne, Armor looks great, your on the right track. Congrats on meeting the 501st approval. I'm not command staff but have you looked at the CRL for MEPD officer deployment ? I would review all the requirements listed at this link. http://www.mepd.net/crl/ as officer deployment requires a few thing & a Backpack is one of them. Im actually doing my officer deployment now :-) Welcome to the sandbox, Chris
  4. i was doing the same as the above, now that i have a pack made, its now on a strap for the pack with snaps..

  6. I used a combination of things, Pauldrons, were done with the same dark acrylic mix as armor and a top coat of tile grout, some have used a little hair spray to seal them. Pouches, were done the same as the pauldrons but hit them with a 250grit sand paper before the grout to give the well used look.. Hope the above helps.

  9. Welcome to the dirty side, Sounds like your going Tuck and roll, that my path as well. For pouches i would highly recommend Blaster 8266 (Anthony) he makes the best pouches around. For the TD ab buttons Walter at WTF trooper factory has them available or he can pull a set for you no problem.. Its better on the dirty side

  11. John, Im im not mistaken the movie ones were black and painted or dyed white as well..
  12. I ended up having a friend mix some for me. worked well but can didn't last long. So i decided to use a base light grey primer and Krylon Bahama Sea, it actually worked very well.
  13. Have you tried TKboots ? or Imperialboots ? Another option is buy a set of chelsea boots and dye them white, normally they come in black...
  14. Here are the pictures... Just noticed the title LOL, missed the "R" in Officer can someone fix that ? Frame, finished /w extra seed tray reinforcements. Bottom seed trays mounted.. Attached custom shotgun shells and bracket, custom exhaust port too :-) Top shot with tool box mounted.. Repaint time... Radio and Cistern, almost finished... Mortar tube.. Bottom seed tray almost ready. Basic canteen attached.. Bottles curing, my custom paint mix worked well... Canadian Military grade pack straps :-), Army surplus is your friend... Top seed tray ready for install... Cistern Ready for install too... Radio mounted.. Bottom seed try ready for install... Everything mounted and secured... Left side. Top shot... Right side Foam supports curing E6000 :-(. then ill attach the straps later.... Thanks for looking all..
