My first weathering job was too yellow/sandy too... and I thought I can grey those out by applying more darker colours... it was a mess!!!
Then I tried another way... I toned down the yellow area with a bottle of nail polish remover...partially removed the yellow patches and created a newer color. It WORKS WONDERFULLY for me... it creates a more weathered pattern tat I can never recreate with just adding on colors and it also matted up my shiny abs.
I will surely scream if that was my TK suit with all the surface damages done by the remover... but hey! it is a TD... and it looks very nice and sweet now.
oh.. that's a kid in an oversized clone armour... bad casting and mod...
...either that or he is inventing a new form of Bell Bottom clonetrooper calf armor. The kid should've stuck to being a Biker Scout...
hmmm.. he was one before....
I agree Just wish it was a bit more greyish like you said
I added a few light layers of grey .. but it does not take away the yellow..
wat do u suggest?
Some pics of my weathering to my armour... I tried to be light about it cos I was thinking it is just sand...
I was trying to get it more grey like TD6025 than yellow but guess the sand color I used gave it a yellowish coat instead.
