  1. Date: 04 DEC 2019 What: Children's Hospital Visit Location: Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, WI Spreading some smiles where they are very much needed Troop #81 Right before me and the shinies bust out some sick dance routine (kidding, but it totally looks like it)
  2. The difference between the R1/Solo TK and then OT TKs is pretty massive. The body construction is totally different, the 'trim strip' detailing on the arms and legs is different, the bucket is different, the ab section, cod section, belt, chest, back and kidney plates are all NOTICEABLY different Not only in details but in the way they are cut and the way they fit together. COULD it, in theory, be done? Maybe. But you'd spend more time on it than is possibly worth doing. You'd be better off with an R1 kit. The money you spend trying to convert the FX will likely exceed the cost of a new kit.

  20. The links appear broken at the moment, but if you were going for a screen accurate trooper, the various pouch and pack configurations for the private (black pauldron) SHOULD be shown on this page (again, link broken at the moment) http://www.mepd.net/crl/private/
  21. Seconded! I made the jump to Imgur after photobucket set itself on fire, and have never looked back.
  22. post deleted in light of John's info just below.
  23. It is certainly an odd beast. It has the LONG strap like German pouches traditionally do, but it doesn't fasten (via stud) on the underside, like German pouches typically do. It doesn't look British, as they tend to have a flap that is wider than the body of the cartridge box, and rounded across the top and the front profile. It definitely looks like (and is the right size for) either a cartridge box or a small med kit, but try as I might I can't find anything no matter how long I search.
  24. I didn't think the US army had much in the way of leather magazine pouches, apart from the officer's M1911 pouches.
