  1. Hi felix. Thanks for the reply. With regard to the weathering marks are you talking about the chip being more of a dirt Mark or that there is additional dirt above the chip? Which I can add no probs. This is the closer detail pic I used which shows a chip. With regard to the mic tips. Can you provide a little more clarity or an example of the 'rougher' look please. Many thanks. Lee.
  2. Do you require some more detailed pictures of the weathering on the helmet felix?

  10. I have used the same method for this application as I did when submitting for PO status, but this appears to only shows the link to the photos??
  11. TD 81913 Requesting SWAT deployment. Name: Lee Moore Legion ID: 81913 Garrison: UK Garrison Board name: Moley77 Trooper emulated: ANH alley door check private. Black pauldron V2 pack. MEPD PO: deployed This particular set of armour was used in multiple scenes. It was mixed and matched, with other pieces of armour throughout filming and was worn by different actors. The pictures I have submitted below are the screen shots I have solely based my SWAT application on. I am emulating this particular trooper from this particular scene from the film. (not any others). To my current knowledge and understanding, this is the first application of this trooper with the V2 pack, which exhibits the the alternate radio face plate, rather than the generic radio Below I have to the best of my ability, attempted to replicate this troopers body positions from the frames. The rationale for this, is that it will highlight the individual weathering markings, the tape on the shins, the field pack along with the much disputed left belt pouch. It also highlights the pack construction including the V2 alternate radio. The pack is mounted onto to an original karrimour frame with original frame strapping and fixings. The radio is without the leather wrap as per the screen shots. The following pictures are of myself in the standard positions allowing full viewing of my armour, side ab rivrets, cod studs, shoulder straps, chest plate screws, helmet, lenses and frown. The 2 shots below show the weathering on the right shin Other images of weathering areas The above picture is detailing the weathering on the right thigh. The leg ammo belt has subsequently been move to the correct angle. The follow pictures show images of the loak boats, original shin strapping leg ammo rivets. The next images are detailing the rubber hand guards, pauldron, belt pouches and bapty E11 blaster. My final pictures are the requested action shots I would like to thank the SWAT panel and the command staff for taking the time to view my application. I hope it is worthy of the standard. TD 81913 waiting......out.

    SWAT

This 'as a swat prospect' is exactly what I wanted to hear. I have spent a lot of money, time away from kids, my wife, to take the time to examine and study and build what I will be submitting for swat. This is the ultimate endorsement / accreditation and badge of honor that I strive to achieve with my armour as it's classed and indorsed with 501st accredited armourers / deployment officer and the command staff of the MEPD. In my opinion the MEPD swat program is the only canon badge for screen accuracy that I wish to achieve and with the guidance of the MEPD I hope to be successful.
  13. Apologies.... I've obviously missed a few comments as I've been reading. So it's not a 501st accreditation. So the T76 members who give an accreditation must have a valid accreditation themselves linked to the 501ST or lucas film to possibly be in a position to be able to say they are the most accurate sandtroopers in costuming. Which is a quote from the open Facebook page. I think as much as it sounds like an interesting challenge i think that again it sounds like individuals have gathered in a room and have decided themselves what is classed as canon. I for one will be striving for what I know is in keeping with the 501ST for screen accuracy with the swat program. I wish the T76 all the best in there aspirations.
  14. Hi guys. I've read all the posts here and wow...I'm confused.. I'm an MEPD po starting a swat app very soon. I was of the understanding that the MEPD swat program was the highest 501st accreditation for screen accuracy and armour building inclusive of packs and blasters. Now there is another group being advertised on here claiming to the contrary. Can I ask is there a wip process for T76 and who are the 501ST accredited armourers please. As there must be some to oversee and validate builds otherwise clearly its a matter of individual opinion of persons claiming to be an authority on what is and what is not canon when this process is already in place. It seems very confusing. Thanks for reading
  15. Well done felix, I wish all the best in your new role.
  16. Cheers dusty. I used a method that Rick Adams taught me. Gives a really good organic look plus a great base layer.
  17. Sorry for the late reply. Thanks all so much for you welcome and kind words. Gratitude brothers.
