  4. roger that. only time it's kinda crucial, is a formal gig, then ya only want one officer and sgt. just to try and make it look reasonably authentic, otherwise, the **** with it, wear whatever.

right on, it's amazing how many of our members are members of other costuming groups as well. it truly is a feverish passion. I've got alot of ex-army buddies who were SCA members, but I'd like to poke my nose into the old roman legion re-enactment groups sometime. come to think of it, ain't old sarge oberon a member of the 14th legion?
  9. roger that, as much as I hate losing the overall costume "effect" there are just those times where all the gear is way to cumbersome inside. god bless the trusty e-11 sidearm
  10. that's a double Hooaahh Ex 11B1P (airborne infantry, 82nd airborne div.)

  18. more bodies, more fuel for the imperial grinders, welcome aboard, hope you like heat, heat, and more heat.
  19. it's actually a heavily modified don post deluxe. I'm a short guy comin in at 5'5, so it's a little more proportionate on me than the standard kit. it is a pinch small though, so I'm still looking for that bucket thats like the porrige that was just right.
  20. wow, it's been quiet the last few days.. we lose a detachment or something?
  21. I'm sure the gap is small. every collector in the US probably watches the site like a dog waitin on the door to go up.
  22. god, my packs heavy to begin with, as if that wasnt enough, I punish myself with my 2x4 of a bfg LOL! my pouches are functional, and carry wallet keys, smokes, lighter, buisness cards, the old e-11 always, binos, and the PA system is all enclosed in the bucket with the fans. makes for a heavy rig though. I love it!!
