  1. Nice, cause I need one for the larger lid. Good find Bro!
  2. Walking through the Hardware store the other day, this caught my eye. I have been in the process of installing the mortar tube on my back pack, when i noticed out of the blue, the Radar Backing Plate I had , was broken in half. So I was thinking of repairing the part, when I found this... This last Photo, shows the cast dish from Dirty Boy, and above is an actual Tupperware Lid, but it is the larger size. Hope this helps someone, and if you have trouble locating an Ace Hardware, let me know, I'll pick one up for ya! Now, if I could just find thoses darn droids....
  3. I have a set of both and I prefer my RS for the SandTrooper for a few different reasons. One is the cast, being from original, it really looks the part of ANH. Two is the texture of the armor really brings out the weathering. Three is the weight. For some reason, my RS feels lighter to troop in , which helps with the added weight of the back pack. Love my RS TD...
  4. Right, special ops, rangers for sure. Davin Felth was a highly trained soldier who was sent to Tattooine so the Emporer wouldn't find out about the design flaw of the AT-AT. So he was a SnowTrooper before being a TD. Kinda cool back story. I imagine he also had a TK armor. I Know I do, cause I'm Davin Felth.... Lolz. The whole StormTrooper can't hit anything is Bologna , we were ordered to let the rebels escape to find the base, we were told to Set For Stun. Vader Knew how important Luke and Leia were, that's why we never shot them. Only Imperial StormTroopers are so precise. Taking out that sand crawler was a piece of cake for our training, the whole Aunt Beru , Uncle Owen thing could have been avoided, but, one thing led to another , and we were following orders. I'll never forget the smell of burning Jawa...
  5. You most likely need a blend of colors and build layers and texture. I started with black and then did my browns. Add the layers and texture until you get the desired effect. YouTube Pandatrooper weathering tutorial. Good stuff. I think he does his black second, it just depends on what you are looking for.
  6. OMG thats alot of parts..lol. You should be fine. Try to separate the kits, to try to keep the pieces all together as you start to fit of course. Looks like fun. Wow, and I thought I had my hands full... Good luck, keep us posted.
  7. Thanks Guys. Got some other projects caught up. Two more costumes in the 501st. Now, to bring this baby to SWAT level. Any suggestions right off the bat?
  8. Wow Ronny, looks like you breezed through buddy. You mentioned SWAT, so was wondering which trooper you were replicating? Move along? My suggestion would be to get lots of reference shots and work towards the weathering. Looks like all you may need to do , depending on the trooper. Good luck buddy, see you around...
  9. Celebrated May The Fourth With Some Father And Son Time... Hope your Day Was Awesome Too. If Not, Make Today Your Revenge Of The Fifth...
  10. Yeah man, looking like the real deal.
  11. That top box, is the sto-n-go container, the move along pack has the box with the tape. No tape on the sto-n-go
  12. Looks good, the filter is A Bit large, but passable I'm sure. Good well built packs can run upwards of $350.00 , heck even some not so well built packs can be up there in price too. Be careful. Try to get it for $200-$250, you would be in the green then. Good luck.
  13. Thanks Matt, gearing up for my next troop in Richmond , Raven-Con.
  14. Cool man, I'll check you out. I do a bit of abstract art myself.
  15. Stopped in at the cantina. Asked the bartender if she had seen any suspicious or unusual activity at the convention, ... Next up...SWAT...
