  1. Congrats on your deployment. I really love that MG-34!
  2. Great idea! Looks like a lot of fun.
  3. That's a nice find Charlie. I think I used Country Blue for mine (I think that's what Scootch had suggested).
  4. Lookin' good on that bucket Sands. Chaz, your work speaks for itself as always.
  5. Glad to see Charlie stepping up. I can definitely vouch for his parts. They're top notch and he's a good guy to do business with.
  6. Great job Pablo! That TM armor is beautiful. I wish that a) I could afford a set and that it would fit a bigger boy like myself. You really nailed the look.
  7. Thank you so much! I've learned so much from you guys here.
  8. Thanks Rolf. That means a lot coming from a master such as yourself. Thanks a lot to you too Sands. Lemme know how your pack is turning out.
  9. Excellent job as always Rolf! Since you have it in hand, how does the size compare to an AP, CAP, TE2, or MRCE?
  10. The more I look at this helmet the better looking it gets! It's beautiful.
  11. You would know! That ESB CAP of yours is spectacular!
  12. My good buddy CAP is doing a "final" signature series run of helmets before he takes a long break from the hobby and I was lucky enough to get in on the run. I'm the proud owner of #3. He pulled these from high gloss HIPS that he had shipped in from Europe somewhere b/c it isn't available here in the States. Here are the pics of my new baby: Hope you guys like it!
  13. I followed Scootch's backpack building thread over on the DIYprops forum a while back before it was moved over here. I used it to compliment the parts I already had in hand and went to work. Anyhoo, this is how it turned out by following his awesome instructions and utilizing a combination of scratchbuilt, crashmann, and Sci-Fire parts: Hope you guys like it!
  14. Ok guys. I redid the pack that I had by following my buddy Scootch's tutorial and recycling the Sci-Fire parts that I already had. From what I understood before, the pack was all I was needing for deployment. That being said, here goes my official attempt. Jeremy Bryan TD-2316 Lompoc, CA Southern California Garrison lordvader74 (MEPD login) (This helmet-off pic is from a few months ago so it shows my old trik-toys neck seal and not my new leather one made by riveting over on the FISD) (I recycled this pic from an earlier post as well) Well there it is guys. I noticed going back through the pics that my right thigh is sort of open in the back. I had to recruit the wife to help me and we were in a hurry to catch the light outside. Normally it pulls together tighter than that. Also, she didn't let me know that my backpack strap was pulling my left shoulder bell down. The bells actually fit nicely, just got in a hurry b/c this was our only day to take the pics and we were losing daylight fast. Here's proof from an older thread when I had just finished major construction on everything but the backpack: Hope that helps. Thanks guys, Jeremy
  15. I'm happy you finally got those Rolf. I know you've been waiting for a while. They look great too and I'm sure you'll have them built to perfection in no time. Great purchase buddy!
