I've got two sniper plates, should they be glued together and then attached to the shin? Just questioning because it would stick off of the shin so far. Let me know.

Alright, will post some when I get everything on tonight. I have another question. The thigh ammo belt that goes on the right thigh. Does it pop rivet in the middle of the belt to the leg or is it more towards the top? The way I've got mine clamped together, it would be in the middle. There need to be a lot more reference pictures on the site. . . . I will post a picture of the belt clamped in place.

I have another question for you all. Is the top of the thigh supposed to end right at the top of your thigh or is it supposed to continue a little higher? I just don't want to cut too much off of my thighs. It seems like it would be about impossible to bend without it ending right in the "crease" of your thigh/lower torso.

Maybe the belt will pull it in some?

Hey guys, how do you get the butt plate to "form" to your butt? The edges of mine are "pooching out" on the sides and it looks stupid. Also the return edge on it. Would you guys trim it away or leave it?

Already got them knocked out! Hey, I just found boots today. They make them to order, takes about 10 days. It's Caboots. Hey, would you guys remove the entire return edge on the butt plate? Also, I'm not very heavy, 5'10" 170. The butt plate and sides "pooch out" on the sides. How can I get them to curl back in? Heat gun? Warm it up and push them together???

Thanks Juan, I appreciate the pics above. I have other questions. What's the easiest way to fasten the backs of the shins? I've got the strips glued on the fronts, just trying to figure out how to fasten them in the back. I did have a link to a thread on whitearmor which had little holes in the shin along the back which would be hidden by the strip with elastic glued to the inside which would hook once you get it on. What's best practice?

Did you guys use the more flexible "trim aways" from the individual parts as inside strips? It's a little thinner and more flexible than the .09 ABS sheet stuff that I've got.

I didn't know we should strip the inside. I sure can if that's the best way to go. Strips are 5/8" on the arms and biceps and 1" on the shins and thighs. Haven't done thighs yet, I'm fitting everything else before I cut that down.

They weren't glued up in the other pic and the angle made them look round, but they are both sort of egg shaped, one more than the other. Working on thighs and shins right now. Gluing strip on shins now..... Will post them tomorrow night..
