  1. But the HDPE and ABS point is actually a good one. But its gonna be my first armor so i think i am going to care more about how it "looks", not about how accurate it is. I am thinking about trying S.W.A.T for the next one. The first is gonna be my playground to get more skilled. You know what i mean? Still.. What do you guys think about the color difference between RS and TM?
  2. Okay sounds good. I just dont wont it too different. On the fisd one member has a rs/tm set. The armor and the helmet look very good but the very different color would really bother me. Check it by yourself and let me know: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19698-a-nice-combi-tm-and-rs-props/
  3. One of the best suits ive seen so far! Really nice! I really like the warmish color, i dont know if its just the picture but who cares, amazing armor!!!!!!
  4. Hey guys! Sorry for bumping this but it was the only thread that kinda works for my question. What do you guys think of mixing armor/helmet from different makers? As far as i know a lot of people do that but i wonder if there is any noticeable different in color from the rs to ata (or any other maker)... Already ordered my rs abs helmet and wanted to get a ata abs suit. What are your experiences..?
  5. Rolf, dont make me freak out, I am still waiting for my rs helmet!!! But back to topic: i am pretty new here, too. The first thing is research, but thats pretty much what everyone tells you. Everything depends on money and time. Follow the links and google, at first its hard to get a overview but every hour in googling is one step in the right direction!
  6. Sounds like there is no way to get out of this "backpack situation"... I dont even think it looks cool! xD But thanks a lot, i will try to hit up the german sandys to get some support... I am probably one of the worst craftsmen out there but i still think its fun. My first blasters and backpacks gonna look ridiculous!
  7. Hey guys, Pretty new here, just got a quick question. Just ordered my rs prop masters helmet and i am already trying to figure out what comes next. I thought about building or buying a e11 before i get my armor (saving up some credits) but i saw that there is no sandtrooper version with a e11 without a fieldpack. Some day i wanna get a pack but for now it seems like its one of the hardest parts to build/get here in Germany. Long story short: will i get 501st approved with a e11 and no fieldpack or is it required for approval? If not i think i am going to go for the orange pauldron/T21/no pack version, even if i like the e11 better.. Hope the thread is in the right section... Thanks in advance! See ya
  8. Love your project! I could NEVER do anything like this... You are pretty talented in this stuff. I will follow the progress... Cant wait to see it when its done!!!
  9. Just a simple question, i did not want to open a new thread.. is the hasbro in the right size/scale? i wonder if the toy version of this weapon is the same as the original (around 48 cm?) thanksmuch!
  10. Hey Guys! Just signed up and i can't stop reading here... So great! I am not a 501st member, i do not even have a armor right now but i am going to get a rs propsmasters as soon as possible. A few days ago i planned on a stormtrooper but since i have seen all the pictures here and see how you guys support each other i think i will get dirty!!! Uh yeah, i come from germany, i am 24yr old and a star wars fan since i am able to talk. It always has been a dream to get a real stormtrooper armor! cant wait! First questions that pops in my head: Does it rain in "southern Mos Eisley?" I thought of making a sandtrooper that just had to look for droids during a strong rain. I think weathering a armor with this "rain/dirty/drops" designs would look awesome! i know its not really movie-accurate, cause you do not see any rain on tattoine in the movies but would it make sense? -sorry for bad english, thats just all i got taught in school-
