Another piece of the puzzle in place....Trooper1 pauldron received and weathered. Added bonus....new profile pic. Still a month or two away from body armor.

On standby mode right now waiting on my kit to be ready. Trooper1 pauldron ordered...excited about that, and waiting on Anthonys next T21 run. Cant wait to get this project finished....putting the remaining softparts and pack on hold until I have my kit and put a few dollars into the Harley while I have the chance. Sandies are expensive...but it will be worth it for sure.

I agree with the Sandman...building your rig is half the fun. I've already weathered my helmet three times until I was happy with the results. These guys on here will help in any way they can to make it easier on you. As far as armor makers go...from what I've gathered RS and TM are the most accurate out there, with a lot of UK troops favoring RS. AP makes a nice kit and ATA also puts out a good product at a great price. Good luck with your builds.

Toned down the weathering considerably

Got the stripes painted finally.

Weathered the boots up...may clean them up and offer for sale at a discount. They are size 8 and way big on me. I usually wear a 7 but I may reorder a 6 now that I see how big these run.

I like the lower...I think it gives it a more aggressive look. Would like to do another lid with the raised brow though.

Thanks guys. Smally, I'll be painting them on...waiting for work to get thermal ink roll in and I will use Pandatroopers template...used your spray bottle technique for the base weathering on the top and back of lid...worked great.

Ok...so I have made the traps bigger and thinned the black outline considerably. I weathered the lid to my liking which is somewhat dirty and will complete once I paint the tube stripes on. What do you think? Again constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Looks good so far...I watched Mikes tutorial on how to install the hardhat liner and he basically took the inner tabs from the hardhat and glued them in place once he had figured where to place the liner.
