Hoping so, need to get cleared first but would like to make MEM at Excel next year. Still got one more troop in Northampton to go in a few weeks then thants it for the year. You all done this year?

Not yet as Im still to put in for clearance (I cant get the UKG branding off), think I'll do the pics at the weekend. Im loving my TD over my TK and never thought Id say that!!!

Finally got round to a proper test-fit. It all feels like it wears well with no cutting issues, I still need to paint the rank stripe on the ear and fix the speakers/mic, got the TD chatter loop on an old I-pod (which sounds great) so need to fix that to the back pack too!!! All comments and feedback much appreciated guys .

Did a test fit last night which went pretty well on my own, managed to get all the armour on apart from my pack so need to wait for the missus to be in to help and take some pics. Few things I may need to look at is one of the thighs seemed a little warped and I may need to update the belt suspension system. When kitting up I also thought the should bells where a little loose, could that be down to the pauldron and pack sitting on them though? I also managed to get the TD Chatter loop onto an old I-pod and it sounded great. Question, im using the Aker 10w for this and out of interest where do most of you hide the speaker?

Brilliant, thanks a lot, so as I understand (Im orange) I can put the stripe anywhere on the bumps? Is there a "standard" or "normal" bump the UKG guys go for as I would follow that as it makes more sense to.

That is a great pic+sig. Not sure what you mean by Rank Stripe, where is that mentioned, you mean on the grey part or on one of the bumps?

Was signed when I bought it, I was told it was signed but not who by....... Any immediate improvements required for "anything slightly off" that might be picked up for UKG clearance that you can see? I know our UKG standard are tougher than some. I'll try and get the armour pics up be the weekend. All comments appreciated

Thought Id make a start and see what you guys think, Ive only been tinkering/repair the armour so far and havent touched the back back or lid which when I study them look ok but I admit to being green and that I still have loads to learn. Yes, I'll post up some pics here first though, I had trouble with getting my TK through first time all for the top ear screw being a cm too low so will see how my TD goes. Thanks for the offer of help, I'll post the pics up over the next couple of days!!!

Hi Gents, Hoping you can clear this up for me but Im gona put in for clearance soon with my Garrison but dont as yet have a BIG blaster, now I know I have seen TD's with an E11 blaster and it shows there ok in the CRL so will go with that to get out on the dunes but I beliveve no holster is used, is that correct? thanks guys........

Flattery will get you everywhere But no, was my induction too!! Ive done one more troop since which was looking after David "Vader" Prowse at a book signing and just signed up to another 2. I need to make some time to sort my TD though and get cleared (fingers crossed).........

No not in any of these, I do have a nice one of me with Bill Paxton though, it was kinda funny cus the other TK and me didnt have a clue who it was at the time, he strolled up stood between us and got some snaps for himself, I remember thinking something was up cus loads of UKG staff quickly tried to take some pics. Great day for all which I wont forget as my first troop.

Hi Ladies and Gents, Hope your all well and keeping law and order in your sector...... Im Neil and with the UK Garrison, currently serving as a TK (still waiting for my number) but im nearing becoming a TD too, well, after a bit more tweaking anyway and hope to get cleared soon after. The only thing im looking for to complete is a T21 or DLT19 so any pointers appreciated. Keep up the good work out there and I hope to join your ranks soon.
